Great Belgian serie with Topcast! About a young woman who has Gilles de la Tourette. A realistic view into her life. It took me a while to get myself to watch the series but once I found the time and started... I just had to binge completely. From laughter to silence... so beautifully and realistically acted. Also nice that the series also give a view and realistic image of people around the person with Tourette. Wanted more episodes so I hope for a next season. Well done! As well the head character as the others are well trained actor's.
Maybe next season a boy friend? And the obstacles from the beginning in a relationship?

What a nice way to portray a young woman with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. Both respectful and funny while keeping the tempo up and the evolution of her character made me reflect on different aspects of life.
Mona Mina Leon really shines as Yasmine, her struggles made me laugh and cry on several occasions, the relationship with her mother, her doubts and insecurities... very cool.
It must have been a blast filming this. Props to the whole crew and nice work from the director. This level of acting can only be achieved in a safe and comfortable environment (at least, that's how it feels while viewing). Binged it.

Holy shit. Honestly. What. Was. This?
I'm absolutely blown away. Rarely have I seen such a strong cast, and especially Mona Mina Leon actress completely owns the screen in her role as Yasmine. It's a complex, emotionally charged role - but she delivers it with such authenticity, intensity and grace. Hats off!
I binged this series in one go. Totally addictive, right up to the last second. And the ending? Definitely hints at more to come. And we need more. Because this was truly special.
The story revolves around Yasmine, a young woman living with Tourette's Syndrome. It impacts every part of her life: her relationship with her mother, her dream of becoming a teacher, her nearly non-existent love life. It's raw, confronting and incredibly human. The creators manage to portray life with Tourette's in a real, honest way - no clichés, no pity, just truth.
What makes this series even more unique is how it blends two cultures so naturally. It adds depth, nuance, and relatability - especially in today's diverse world.
A warm, daring, and moving series with heart.
Highly recommended. This show deserves an international audience - and I have no doubt it's going to break through.
