Five Gays and a Wedding

I love this show. A new season is like a holiday for me, but this episode is unwatchable. It honestly feels like someone called in a favor for a relative. The subjects are two young parents with a nice house and a new baby whose only struggle is they haven't had their dream wedding yet. It's a slap in the face to the dozens of people who have really struggled and deserve a fresh start. The essence of Queer Eye is void from this episode and the Fab Five just seem to be running through the paces. There is an endearing element with the father struggling with Parkinsons and I truly wish that man well, but they didn't need the Fab Five to make that happen. It reeks of entitlement and privilege. The episode leading into this was about a man with a degenerative bone disease that just survived a quadruple bypass and was nearly homeless until he was brought in by a friend. The follow up to that is a young couple who wants a dream wedding. Give me a break. Rest of the season is good so far.
