    4,8?

This Mario game has the lowest score of all the Mario games i've played and rated. But why? I rarely ever hear somebody say this is a bad game and it's certainly better then Mario Party Advance or Mario Party 9 and 10 with their horrible car gimmick. It might be mostly nostalgia but this is still my favorite Mario Party game. Every time i replay it i just play for hours because i find it so much fun.

    I hate this game...

I freaking hate all Mario Party games. Every time I try to win, I always, always, ALWAYS lose. A 1/10 would be generous to give this title, but seriously, it deserved that horrible rating it currently has, a 4/10. I bet the amount of users is weak enough to help it plunge down to the rating worse than Breadwinners, which got a 2.5/10, like The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl which got a 3.4/10, the amount of 1/10s is too powerful to help raise its rating, while there are currently no 10/10 in Mario Party DS. So maybe if more and more people give this game a 1/10, it might get even lower than Justin Bieber's documentaries which got below a 2/10.

    Great video game

I love this video game, such a fun, magical, fruity, sweet game with a hint of vanilla really makes this video game mind-blowing, exception, forward-thinking in the game, lively, polite, with so many mini-games that makes this video game a mix of games all fun except one (but I forgive him, he didn't do it maliciously).

The magic that makes this video game (sorry to repeat myself) magical lies in the content it possesses, a game that is fun and entertaining and that I bet the developers of this video game enjoyed as well, bravo Nintendo make more games like this please, if you can and if you have the chance.

    Not my favorite

Mario Party DS is a decent entry in the series but falls short compared to its predecessors and later games. The concept and core gameplay remain solid-classic board game style with fun mini-games-but it just doesn't hit the mark overall.

The biggest issue? The lack of variety. With only a few boards and a limited number of mini-games, the replay value takes a serious hit. For a Mario Party title, variety is everything, and this one feels a bit too small and contained. The mini-games are still fun, but there just aren't enough to keep things fresh over time.

The portability factor on the DS is nice, and the touch controls work okay, but that can't fully make up for the limited content. If you're a die-hard Mario Party fan, it's worth a play, but it's definitely not my favorite in the series.

    • Trivia
The North American manual has a mistake on Page 27. It states that during a 2 Player game (the player vs a CPU opponent or another player), only Battle or Boss minigames can be chosen. In reality, during a 2 Player match, only Duel and Boss minigames can be chosen. This was fixed in the European manual.
