Ever since ~2010, it seems like Fluffy hit his peak and has been riding that success ever since. His newer specials don't really seem that funny. But for some reason I keep finding myself watching each new one he comes out with.
Say what you will about Fluffy's newer material... it's not as funny, there aren't as many sound effects, there aren't really any jokes that you take with you after the special. But the guy is just such a damn good storyteller that you keep coming back for more!
Fluffy has you on the edge of a seat this entire special. It's truly amazing to be apart of! You know what he's telling you isn't going to be that amazing, but he finds a way with every story he tells you to make it engaging and worthwhile - to keep you paying attention the entire time. It's captivating. It's mesmerizing. It's truly something to behold.
If you're looking for a great comedian, watch his older material... if you're looking for one of the greatest storytellers of our generation, you've got it right here!

This show is all about him patting himself on the back. The first 20 minutes has a total of 1 joke in it. There are rounds of polite applause from the audience 👏, but only in the way a congregation is friendly to their preacher.
If you LOVE funny stuff, this is NOT it. He first wants you to be in awe that he has been a comedian for 27 years. Then he actually asks the audience how many people at his show had never heard of him before? He counts and says, "oh, about 5 people". In short, this stand up special is all about him indulging his own ego.
It is painful. You keep waiting for the jokes, but they just don't come. He's basically a confident public speaker 📢 with nothing to really say, unless you include old throw reasons to compel applause like: 1. Back in the day we respected our elders!
2. Love being here in Miami-Dade (even though the HardRock here is in Broward County and that's Ft. Lauderdale)
He is doing the Kevin James, Katt Williams stuff where they USED to be very funny. Now they just want to preach to you about things that we all generally know about. No prep. No new jokes. Nothing clever. Just give me the microphone, I can just work the room and make people feel good. But that's NOT funny. Don't tell us what you've done, in order to make a new dollar, how about earning your dollars today by shoeing up with new material and telling jokes!! 🤔
It is a TOTAL money grab. He said he isn't the kind of comedian to get political. Then his first joke is taking a poke at the while pronoun identification issue him/them she/they. And just like a typical Gen X'er, it wasn't funny. It wasn't shameful or offensive. It was just cringy because he first said that he wouldn't, THEN it wasn't that funny.
Long talking set ups to jokes with almost no pay off. So the audience politely claps 👏 and once again, he thinks 🤔 in his own mind that he was brilliant. Everyone at that show should have gotten a refund. Terrible.
Comedians shouldn't wing it. Rehearse, write new stuff, and be better than this!

Went to see Fluffy earlier this year. I feared that this special was the same show I saw; and it was. Depressing.
Man, I come to a show to escape. I watch comedy specials to escape. And Fluffy used to help me escape. Not with his current material.
He starts off with stating he's not going to get political....then proceeds to hit political hot buttons THAT WE ALL WOULD LIKE TO ESCAPE FROM regardless of whatever side you find yourself: vaccines, pronouns, cancel culture, pc language, firearms
Now Fluffy might not think he's being political because he's not (in his mind) advocating for one side completely but DAMN Fluffy; you didn't think an audience of hundreds of people would politicize THOSE TOPICS by what they cheered and jeered for?
At the show I attended, with this same material; I had to endure a Midwest Johnny-Red-Wannabe whooping and cheering ever time Fluffy mentioned firearms FOR A HALF AN HOUR. It was exactly the opposite experience of what I spent my hard earned money to experience. Growing up with firearms, I may have agreed with this guy on a number of issues BUT THATS NOT WHY I WATCH COMEDY, especially Fluffy's comedy.
The rest of his special & live act is filled with self-reflection that I'm glad Fluffy has worked through BUT, Fluffy, please do it on your time not when I pay money to watch you live or on a Netflix special.
Someone compared this to a Ted talk and I couldn't agree more.
I was disappointed in his live show and this special to a degree I didn't think I would with Fluffy.

The show was mostly about him giving a long story about him, and just mentioning over an over again how he has been a comedian for a long time! The jokes were not so very funny. I tried to catch myself laughing, but that only happened when he said the joke about the old couples!
If you watched any of his earlier shows you'll know how funny he was back then! I've seen over 5 of his shows, and they were super hilarious, cracking joke after another, where you need to catch your breath sometimes .. but not this one!
The cherry on the top was that there was no end joke that would take you back to the top of the first joke he told! Ooh wait, there was no first joke!

Gabriel Iglesias used to make me laugh like no other. His first special I've watched time and time again and I could still laugh so hard. I'm crying. The last few specials are so pandering and lame that this one I barely got through. The jokes are old, the setup goes nowhere. He rambles on and on and has all these inspirational things to say, but nothing is laugh worthy. He reminds me of the washed up comedians you see In Vegas you can see for $25 and a drink you have to buy. This special was that bad. Super nice guy, and I still like him, but either get it together or retire. Don't go out like this.
