Bingo Blitz

IMHO, this new show is not long for this world.

First, it's clearly designed for idiots. Never have I seen a game show with questions so ridiculously easy. These shouldn't even be multiple choice, yet they are . . . And with four possible answers. Here's my personal favorite: "Which baseball great was named Willie?" Now, even a person with limited intelligence should know the correct answer. Get a load of the four choices given: Mays, Junes, Julys, Augusts. See what I mean? My 🙄 emoji doesn't come close to expressing my disgust.

Then there's the host, Valerie Bertinelli. She's another one, just like "America Says" John Michael Higgins, who's enamored with saying, "If you complete the puzzle," I'll personally give you . . ." It's NOT her personal money; it belongs to the show. Rarely do contestants win. At the end of every single show when this happens, she says the exact same words, "But that's okay. You still won $1000!" Uh, no, it's really not okay. And why is her vocabulary quite so limited? Further, she dresses in a peculiar way. It looks as though she shops at the Salvation Army. Bertinelli has a net worth of $20 million. She can easily afford to look more professional.

I watched three episodes; that's all I could stomach.

Slow paced and boring. Valerie Bertinelli is not suited as a game show hostess. Neither her personality nor her choice of wardrobe.

She tries so hard to be perky. She comes across as stiff and contrived. Maybe she's a professional actress, but she can't bring this role to life.

Skip this one. You're not missing much.

As for the show itself, the premise is absolutely boring. The questions are too easy and the extra bingo ball ensures a win each time. No surprises here. Everything seems scripted and contrived. The contestants can't seem to settle down either. Their on camera energy puts me off. As if coached. One too many game shows and this one absolutely disappoints.

Sometimes a great host can make or break a show. Sadly, she can't.

It looks like the contestants are coached to hop around and dance like a bunch of goofy teenagers whenever they answer correctly.

A real snooze fest.

Valerie Bertinelli is very cute, not qualified for this job. She tried to look and sound enthusiastic, but it's tough considering the lack of material she has to work with.
