Jaw dropping animation, action, spectacle, emotion and drama, a must see

This episode proves that animation is not only a great medium for storytelling, but perhaps even the best considering the vast range of visual ideas that can be created, not limited by sets, computer effects, costumes or actors. Simply astonishing how good of a finale this episode is to season 3, and how much more you are excited for, for seasons 4 and beyond, a must see for comic fans, as well as fans of superheroes, animation, action, drama or just good stories. It captures emotion, tensity, adrenaline and so much more into 45 minutes. Simply the very best the show has to offer.

Anybody that enjoys the medium, will find that invincible is truly the height of it, and will not regret watching up until this point, and will most certainly be excited to keep watching.

Yeah they nailed it ! Satisfied by the animation !

The fight between Conquest and Invincible topped the fight between Omni-Man and Mark, which I thought was not possible. They went above and beyond from Season 1. It was amazing.

They saved the budget for last, it was worth it. The movement was fluid and smooth, impact frames were delicious and the sound effects were on point.

The story behind Conquest was so painful to hear. He felt relatable. I could see why he was the way he was. Solid backstory and motivation behind his actions.

A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO THE ANIMATORS. You guys did a phenomenal job in this episode.

Overall this season was amazing and miles better than Season 2. Nothing more to say, just hyped for Season 4. I just wanna see more Viltrumites drop in.

The best animated fight I have ever seen

While it is early, this episode deserves to keep the 10.0 rating it currently has. Even if that is unlikely with review bombers. I never thought the season 1 finals could be topped due to the narrative importance and season long payoff, but the sheer devastation and tension in this episode was somehow even greater.

Conquest, despite only appearing for about 4 seconds before this episode, managed to be an incredibly captivating and compelling antagonist in a way that is very hard to do for a newly introduced character. His speech to Mark was one of the most chilling things I have heard. This episode truly elevated every character that got notable focus in it - Mark, Eve, Debbie, Cecil, Oliver. I don't give 10/10s easily, but this episode makes the short list.

    Wow.. just wow

This episode was absolutely insane, I knew what to expect after reading the comics but just wow, they picked the absolute perfect person to voice conquest ("JeffreyDeanMorgan" Neagan from TWD). I honestly thought last week's episode could not be topped but I was so wrong, theis episode had beyond incredible animation, and perfect voice acting, Steven yeun truly brought out the anger and pain as mark was suffering during his battle with conquest, not to mention jeffrey dean morgans ability to truly bring conquest to life matching the malevolance and absolute savagery of his comic counterpart. All while setting the stage perfectly for the future of the series... I am so stoked for Season 4 it's not even funny...I don't want to wait another year, I wish it would just come back next week, but I'll be patient because I know what's coming and also because it will be well worth the wait!!

    Absolute Cinema.

I had just finished the episode, and all I can say is it's a chefs kiss. I'm not sure how long I can contain myself till the next episode.

It pretty much wraps things up from the last episode, so we get TWO back to back peak cinema. The animation in this one was definitely at its highest, I was actually shocked on what I was seeing, sure, I had never noticed the "terrible animation" that people were exaggerating about, but this one does it justice. I'd say its top two season finales in the show, first being Season 1.

I had only recently started watching Invincible and I'd most likely give it a lot more rewatches until the next season, it's definitely fighting for my number one favorite animated show alongside Avatar. I'd also go ahead and say it's in my top 3 shows of all time, top 1 being BrBa.

Sorry for ranting, just loved this episode, 10/10, if you're reading just to see if its worth watching, IT IS. Fits perfectly into every category.

    • Trivia
Conquest holds Invincible in place as he slams his body through innocent civilians, killing them. This mirrors the tactic Omni-Man used in Where I Really Come From (2021) when he held Invincible in front of a moving train and used his body to kill the passengers.
    • Goofs
When Conquest grabs Atom Eve and goes to headbutt her, the camera cuts and he can be seen having both of his eyes again.
