Nick Has Gone Off The Deep End And Into The Event Horizon.

The first time I saw this show, I knew that nick has lost it's marbles. The premise is ludicrous. You can tell that nickelodeon has gone nuts by green lighting a show takes the idea that ducks like bread and run off with it for TWENTY-FOUR episodes. The character names are absurd.

The humor in this show is half witted, often weak, and abuses butt humor.(e.g Twerking). It's a show about badly animated ducks cracking weak jokes, singing badly and all the while twerking frequently and delivering bread to stock images of ducks. The music is 80's arcade music on speed, and it's character design is laughable. (see below)

The animation? SwaySway's head is too big for his body to support, and his face is gargantuan and jarring. (in the pilot, of course.) The 2 main characters look like Flappy Bird recolors/rejects instead of ducks. At least with the creators of Allen Gregory they regretted making the show and canceled it. Here, nick believed it would be their redemption.

This show is mediocre and lazy, using stock images of ducks for every single other duck character, even the bread. It's lazy at best, and jarring at worst. (in this case, it's in between lazy and jarring.)

It's copying what 3 other series (Uncle Grandpa, Amazing world of Gumball, and even dick figures) did before it. It tries to be random and funny, and fails miserably. Randomness and Toilet humor aren't inherently funny. You have to make it funny. Same thing goes for pop culture references.

This show tries to be Fanboy and Chum Chum, Season 6-9 Spongebob, and Sanjay and Craig at the same time by believing that randomness and butt jokes. Never once do they get a laugh out of anyone above the age of 10.

(The fans are naive and immature, yes, but you can already figure that out by watching the show for longer than 10 seconds. Nick doesn't care, as long as it's making $$$ and is PG. The parents don't care, as long as it's PG. The plots? i've seen better plots from any modern YTP on the web.

Making Fiends and Invader Zim were good shows, and they didn't live to reach their apex. This show, on the other hand, lives to see a second season. This says a lot about nickelodeon's current standards. Sad much?

As for those who don't understand as to why we don't think it's awesome or want it canceled, it provides nothing of substance, doesn't follow a coherent plot, and it's humor is mostly toilet humor with Twerking thrown in.

Bottom Line, giving this show even a 1 would be too generous, and the arguments made in this shows defense are futile. Maybe the fans will develop a better sense of humor, and maybe this show will be cancelled, or hopefully forgotten, even.

And you thought Sanjay and Craig was bad

I have lost faith in Nick because of this show. I mean, how could they have sunk so low? Lets see, the show is about two ducks, who look like flappy bird if he grew arms and legs and painted himself acid green, named Sway-Sway ((tall and thin)) and Baduce ((small and red)). ((Very creative names, am I right?)) They fly around in a blue rocket van, delivering bread, with names like pumper knuckle punch. Now, had the jokes been about the bread puns, considering the name is breadwinners, maybe the show would've been good. But what do we get instead? Fart jokes, butt jokes, and some very creepy moments. Like the love load episode, where Sway Sway is trying to get a girl duck, who isn't animated, but instead a photograph, ((Amazing world of gumball this show isn't)) and he is being a psycho about it.

Allow me to put this in perspective. Remember Hey Arnold and Rugrats? These shows taught kids very important lessons, such as gender roles, how people are different, ((the bird man episode of hey Arnold)) and accepting death ((Chuckie's mom on the rugrats)). Breadwinners tells kids to act like Sway-Sway and Baduce, creeps who feel like they can get away with anything.

I'll be up front, I kind of liked Fanboy and Chum Chum, it did get some chuckles out of me, and Sunjay and Craig got a few chuckles when it wasn't about poop or fart jokes, and Rabbids Invasion, based on one of my favorite video game series, is a really good show in my opinion. Breadwinners just combines the worst aspects of the new spongebob episodes, Fanboy and Chum Chum, and Sanjay and Craig, and thinks it can be funny, when really it's more like a little kid telling his friends the worst jokes over,

Nick rarely shows T.U.F.F puppy or any of its over good shows to give us this crap. It's obvious that Nick no longer cares about the viewers, they only care about pandering to children, and their bottom line. How this show is rated #1 for kids is beyond me.

My advise to you? Skip this show, it isn't worth sitting through, don't let your kids watch it, they may become dumber watching it.

    There's no win in this...

I gave this show a go. I saw the commercials awhile ago but I didn't want to judge a book by its cover. Before anyone bashes me saying I'm basis towards older shows making this review unfair; I like Teen Titans Go!, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball and Tenkai Knights. I don't mind shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls and Sanjay and Craig. Clarence looks promising too. I laughed my butt off and I can't wait for it to come out. But THIS show is what I'm going to be avoiding like the plague along with Cartoon Network's Uncle Grandpa. First of all, this show gives its viewers the wrong idea that feeding ducks bread is okay. It causes them a lot of problems. Secondly, this show takes unoriginal to a whole new level. Honestly, I can't take this seriously. I can't imagine the creators thinking to themselves that this show is quality stuff. Last but not least, it's gross and lacks good comedy. If I had a nickel for every bad joke on today's Nickelodeon, I'd have enough money to take this off the air. Maybe I'm exaggerating. Go ahead and judge it for yourself. If you like it, good for you. Don't let me stop you from liking something. But I hate it and it makes me angry to just look at it. It is a waste of a time slot for an actually good show.

    Horrible Nicktoon

This is one of the worst shows i have ever seen in my life.. the animation sucks the lessons the show teaches are bad and there is so much violence and gore to the point where it will make your four year old want to puke.

    Nick? Really????

I'm probably going to sound harsh on this, but this is one of the WORST SHOWS I'VE SEEN MY WHOLE LIFE! I mean, come on Nick! Why can't you see that kids don't like fart jokes or anybody? It's...Not....Funny. Plus, why are the ducks twerking and showing their butts? It's disgusting. What happened to shows like Hey Arnold!, Doug, CatDog, or Rugrats? You know what else makes me mad? Nick airs the most grossest shows ever instead of mature cartoons like Hey Arnold! Why Nick? Why???

Anyways, I hope this show gets cancelled soon. If this is renewed for another season, oh my gosh I'm going to strangle something!!!! I'd rather watch Dora than this bullcrap....
