about love. or only about a meet. one of the good examples of Turkish cinema precision in the art of romanticism and dramatic changes of the story. because, at the first sigh, all is simple. a blind young woman and a boxer. the growing up of love. events who change always, everything. and the shadows of the past. nothing original. maybe few traces of soap opera recipes. but the film remains touching at all. scene by scene. for its honest simplicity. for the admirable performances of the actors. for the tension. for the great cinematography.and this does Sadece Sen one of films about yourself. because it represents one of films with deep roots in your experiences. because preserves the flavor of old stories from the East but, in same measure, the bitter taste of contemporary every day crisis. because it is a real beautiful film. and this is the most important word about it.

My soul fluttered, my eyes teared, and this movie lit up corners of my heart that had gone dark with doubt and disappointment. One could only HOPE to feel a love like theirs.
Lately I have discovered that watching foreign films with subtitles has given me the opportunity to enjoy some above average cinematic entertainment. This is one of the best movies I have ever watched. I was totally captivated from beginning to end.
I was only into this movie (Netflix) about 15 minutes when I realized I was watching a masterpiece. There was only one swear word in the whole movie with no nudity. So tasteful and refreshing. There is some violence, but not gratuitous, and only in part of the movie. Don't let the opening scene shock you away. This movie has a beautiful and uplifting ending. Kudos to the director and production team. They deserve it. I would never have thought I would love a movie made in of all places, Turkey!

Great movie. This is one of the best movies I have ever watched lately. I was totally captivated from beginning to end. Also, I am so against comparing with the Korean version of 'Always', due to different places, cultures, and identities in the countries.
Story was amazing first of all. The stars acted amazing, can't be expected more. Definitely, it will be my number one Turkish movie after now. "Ellerinize Saglik"

I am totally won over by this wonderful film. The two lead actors are so special - what a chemistry there is between them (I also fell for them in Kordugum TV series until the writers did their worst!). The writing arc hit the spot. We are in the present, prosaically at the start, then slowly the layers of back-story are revealed. Is Turkish cinematography noticeably one of its great strengths? The TV series above I viewed after this masterful production seems to confirm that.
One issue I would take up with one of the reviewers, is the opinion that 'coincidences' were contrived; I don't agree. It could be expected that that ending sequence would quite logically happen. Normal? - not contrived soapiness!
No, I haven't seen the Korean version. I would suggest that some of 'boxer' scenes in mid-film are rather unpleasant, although integral and of kay importance. Eyes shut for me!
