I really love this drama it's funny and entertaining,
And I also love both of the leads , lee junyoung is a really talented actor who can act in many categories and I also love the girl she's pretty and funny also her acting is really good!!!
I also love it because it's a slow burn and the leads don't fall in love at the start of the show immediately!

Jung Eun-ji plays Lee Mi Ran a travel agency manager who is not dealing very well with her recent breakup but then she decides to join a local gym. The unsuccessful gym is is run by Do Hyun-joong ( Lee Jun-young) an ex world champion body builder who mysteriously withdrew from the circuit years earlier. Initially they clash with his obsession with fitness and food whilst she is just looking for a way to get over heartbreak. It is an amusing romantic comedy with a great supporting cast with funny characters including her sister and the three middle aged ladies at the gym. I particularly liked Mi Ran and her facial expressions and the scrapes she got into. Overall an amusing watch but no real depth or development of the characters left it a little disjointed to me.
Rarely does a K-drama land so effortlessly in the sweet spot between heartfelt storytelling and laugh-out-loud comedy like Pump Up the Healthy Love. With its vibrant pacing, loveable leads, and clever writing, this show has completely stolen my heart-and I'm both thrilled and heartbroken knowing only two episodes remain.
At its core, Pump Up the Healthy Love tells the story of two individuals who couldn't be more different-yet somehow couldn't be more perfect for each other. The male lead, played with quiet charm and emotional depth, is the picture of restraint and discipline, a man grounded in wellness and routine. His counterpart, however, is an absolute firecracker: chaotic, hilarious, endearingly flawed-and impossible not to adore. Together, their dynamic is pure magic. Every glance, every accidental touch, every comedic misunderstanding is laced with electricity. You don't just watch their love story unfold-you feel it.
What truly elevates this drama is the incredible performance by the female lead. Her comedic timing is, in a word, flawless. She navigates slapstick, sarcasm, and sincerity with ease, bringing authenticity to every scene. Whether she's awkwardly stumbling through a first date, ranting about her frustrations, or unleashing unexpected wisdom, she commands attention and wins hearts. She's not your typical rom-com heroine-and that's what makes her unforgettable.
But let's not overlook the scene-stealing brilliance of the character who plays her sister. A whirlwind of wit and sass, she adds a perfect balance of chaos and comic relief. Their sibling banter is so natural and sharp, it could anchor its own spin-off. The chemistry between these two actresses is genuine and joyful, often resulting in some of the series' most memorable moments. It's rare to see a sisterly relationship portrayed with such warmth, mischief, and depth.
Visually, the show is a treat. From pastel-toned apartments to cozy cafes and dreamy nighttime walks, every scene is designed to draw you in and make you feel like you're part of this quirky little world. The OST is equally delightful-light, bouncy, and perfectly in sync with the show's uplifting energy. Whether you're watching an awkward gym training montage or a heartfelt confession scene, the music enhances every beat.
What I particularly appreciate is that while Pump Up the Healthy Love leans into classic rom-com tropes, it never feels clichéd. The writers have managed to inject originality into familiar moments, creating twists that are both surprising and satisfying. The characters grow in meaningful ways, and their journey feels authentic-messy, funny, touching, and real.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing is how this drama manages to uplift without ever being overly sentimental. It reminds you that love can be goofy, healing, and energising-just like a good workout for the soul. It's comfort food for the heart, served with a side of abs, sass, and sisterly chaos.
With only two episodes left, I'm already dreading the goodbye. I've laughed with these characters, rooted for them, even shouted at the screen during their misunderstandings-and I'm not ready to let go. If you haven't started watching Pump Up the Healthy Love yet, do yourself a favour and jump in. It's the perfect blend of charm, comedy, and chemistry-and it just might become your new favourite rom-com.

It's a (gym) comedy drama.
Hyun-jung, former bodybuilder and struggling gym owner and fitness fanatic helps Mi-ran, a heartbroken woman, rebuild her life and body.
As they train together, they form an unexpected bond that helps them heal, grow, and face life's challenges side by side.
It's a light-hearted comedy drama.
Initial episodes are high pitched, loud comedy which has charming tackiness, outlandish gags with cartoonish characters.
Love and romance appear subtly in later episodes, Not so forced but somehow a fitness fanatic, Director Do falls in love.
Writer - Director perfectly showcases the initial effects of the exercise. That was too hilarious.
Leads Jung Eun-ji and Lee Jun-young are great together; their comic timing and chemistry are wonderful. Lee Jun-Young showcasing his versatility. 2024 must be a busy year for him.. giving back to back dramas in 2025.
Side characters bring the same comedy energy, especially 3 Ajjumas. 😂 Very loud but very hilarious.
Some scenarios are very hilarious.
This K-drama lands so effortlessly in the sweet spot between heartfelt storytelling and laugh-out-loud comedy.
In the end, give the message... Love yourself, the world will love you.
Focus on your health, accept yourself.
This drama urges you to getup and start the exercise and eat healthy.

A show that does not take itself too seriously. This show is so warm and fun. It is light on romance but heavy on comedy. Some of the comedy is silly, but it is spot on about the truths of the gym. You start because you are insecure about your body, and you stay with it because you want to stay strong and healthy for yourself. This drama shows many sides of gym goers, and it is also very warm when addressing the many varied personal struggles of gym members.
As a seasoned gym member, I have spent decades around weightlifters, personal trainers, bodybuilders, etc. This show was not only respectful, but very honest. We will forgive them for the cheesy and misinformed poster.
The male lead is in many shows this year and this was my favorite role for him. He was over the top and it just added to his charm. I had no idea he had such a range. The female lead was not my favorite, but she was very good at making me laugh. I also have to comment on the supporting cast. I absolutely adored Lee Mi Do's character. I have seen her in many shows, but this character was awesome. Five stars for her storyline. Similarly, I will not forget "Roy Kim" and his on screen chemistry. The show is totally entertaining, warm, and an easy watch after a stressful day.
