Good show.but this type of high school drama always made me think that "bro what the teachers actually do? Can't they see the bruises?why don't they take any action?" These kinda plots potray teachers helpless and incompetent.by the way how uei-gyeom learnt fight overnight and can take down all the experienced fighter, also not overnight it's on spot though..but however i always enjoy this type of show where they stand up against the bullies.. overall good action and fighting scenes ...but plot is kinda messy...looking forward to last two episodes..hope they make the story clearer and clean up the mess.

This drama highlights the extent to which the family environment shapes children's behavior. Providing a supportive environment and setting a positive example can truly change a trajectory. And that's exactly what parents like the protagonist's father should understand. Domestic violence never stays confined within four walls: it spreads and eventually explodes outside.
Fight scenes : Every punch, every gulp of air, every bead of sweat-cinematically captured. These fights are on par with martial arts movies. These fights make you wince, cheer, and gasp in the same breath.🔥
Overall, this a great drama, If you crave adrenaline, emotional complexity, and moral grayness, dive in.

The storyline is similar to something we have seen before if not exactly the same.
Study group, return of high school gangster and weak hero all had the similar storyline and fights in school, nothing new.
Only the two last episode was a little bit okay, If you don't have any other thing to watch, you can use it to pass time.

One: High School Heroes is an intense, emotionally charged drama that blends social commentary with action and heart. While set in a high school, this isn't your typical coming-of-age story. It's darker, more grounded, and unafraid to tackle uncomfortable truths - but always with a strong sense of purpose.
The performances are stellar, especially from the lead actors, who carry the emotional weight of the series with maturity and nuance. The cinematography and direction are also top-notch, adding to the show's raw and immersive atmosphere.
What I appreciated most is the way the show balances intensity with hope. There's a strong underlying message about standing up for what's right, even when the odds are stacked against you - without ever turning preachy or unrealistic.
If you're looking for a high school K-drama that breaks the mold and offers something more meaningful than just romance or lighthearted tropes, this one's absolutely worth your time.
Highly recommended for viewers who enjoy character-driven stories with real stakes and emotional depth.

Personally, I would've called it a mid to okay series at first, but the last 3 episodes definitely saved it. The emotional moments spread throughout also really helped carry it. You can clearly see how much things change from the beginning to the end, whether it's the situations, how problems are handled, or just the main character's development, both mentally and in relationships. Even though the shift is kind of sudden, you can still see the steps that led to those changes, which makes it work. The editing is super cool too, with great metaphors that drop hints about the backstory and help you link things together. If you love fight scenes, you'll definitely be fed here, they're sick, violent and on point. That said, sometimes the acting feels a bit over the top, it can get a little cringe or unrealistic in certain situations. But at the same time, the characters' reactions and emotions are some of the realest I've seen. The series has some great ideas and messages, especially toward the end. Honestly, the ending is the best part in my opinion, you finally get all the explanations, and you really understand the characters' choices, their emotions, and their stories. It's packed with emotion and drama, and I personally live for that stuff. So if you're anything like me, you should totally check out "Weak Hero Class", you're gonna love it.
