Supermassive Heavenly Body Review

Supermassive Heavenly Body is about a girl facing body dysmorphia. She faces comments from people around her about her body, making her feel insecure. As a girl who faces a harsh body image, I relate to this film terribly well.

The introduction to the short film was brilliant. It was silent and eerie, placing the audience in the shoes of the girl. We tend to look into past pictures for too long until we just see the ugly things of ourselves.

This short film is an example of "Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable." In my case, it comforted me.
