The Good:
I think show is quite different from ANTM, and I like it. It doesn't have many gimmicks and the girls start to experience the real modeling world fairly quickly.
I loved watching Erin as a mentor. She is a wonderful model, but she is humble. Her warmth towards her girls was really refreshing. Although, I wonder if her team would have done better if she was a bit more tough on them.
The Medium:
Naomi Campbell is quite harsh and there's no denying that she has a bad attitude. There were quite a few episodes where she was petty, rude, and unprofessional. Her team was quite catty, and I wish she had given them a bit more support in resolving their issues. She basically told them to just deal with it and move on, and I think this negatively affected them because they just let it fester. There are also many times when they looked to her for some encouragement, but she was quite harsh with them instead.
That being said, she makes for great TV and she trained her team to have a thick skin. She also takes accountability. When her team loses, she says "we lost" but when they win, she says "you won." She also doesn't deal with sass and attitude from the contestants the way Tyra Banks has. She is confident and secure in herself.
The Bad:
Petty, petty, petty! I did not enjoy the feud between Caroline and Naomi. It is unprofessional, and doesn't reflect well or set a good example for the girls. I mean that first elimination was brutal.
The elimination format is not fair, and many strong contestans went home over others that were just coasting. I hope it gave the contestants a good platform for success because the prize isn't really that great.
Overall, I think it was a fun show to binge-watch, and Naomi continues to deliver that sass and kind of b*tchiness she's known for.
