This was not good.
Bad script. Lousy acting and a meaningless story.
Depressing movie.
Can there be any justification whatsoever for making such a movie ?!?!?!?
THE GOOD - This is so stylishly-filmed it's unbelievable. The wild camera techniques - quick flashes, sudden changes from color to devil red, distorted sound bytes, shakey camera shots, wild colors and symbolic images, distorted sound bytes - are all fascinating to watch. Then there's the crazy story, which ranges from really good to really bad The two leads, "Rev Jones and Rebecca" are kinda co-dependent on one another. He likes his drugs, and she likes her style and shopping habits. He struggles keeping the cash flow going for his drug addiction and her Gucci purses, and some damn boots she mentions a thousand times.
THE BAD NEWS - The drug use in this movie is OVER THE TOP. WOW. The actor who plays Rev. Jones either did a lot of cocaine or endured the pain of snorting a lot of baking soda. Painful to watch sometimes. You can just see it in his face. Then there is the performance of Rebecca, she struggled to nail the character. The Preacher carried the movie.
I am currently the third reviewer for this movie.
One reviewer reviews by only asking an eleven word question - lol!
The other reviewer obviously didn't even watch the movie, because it has *nothing to do with religious movies per se*! It isn't about "God is good", or religious sects, you faker!
This movie is about a couple of *con artists fleecing religious people*, financing their drug addiction and life living moment to moment, until a sci fi/fantasy factor is introduced, which makes their life worse than ever.
Very intriguing, and a lot better than too many multi-million dollar budgeted garbage movies Hollywood spews out.

This film is just terrible.
It gets a 7+ rating because it has fake reviews. IMBD is really losing credibility lately allowing this to happen with so many movies.
The movie looks like it was filmed on a SD card and made for three cents
There is no real direction. It's amateurish. As is the writing and the acting.
It's filled with untalented clowns who cant act out of a paper bag.
The only good thing I can say is that it wasn't two hours long.

- TriviaWhile filming in Tucumcarri, New Mexico, a billy goat wandered onto the set at one of the motel locations and interrupted shooting. Several of the grips chased the animal away and production continued.
- GoofsWhen Rebecca calls her mother on the payphone, the phone is only held to the pole with zip ties and there are no cables connecting it back to the telephone system This shows that the phone was simply a dummy prop.
