We Got Time Today

I don't know how I ended up watching an entire episode of this god awful show, it was playing on tubi's Home Screen and it was like a car accident I couldn't look away from though one look was enough for me. In case you haven't had enough of Deion Sanders and his clown show facade of what passes for a personality being constantly throw in your face by the media then tune in and enjoy some friendly banter that is about as intellectually stimulating as an episode of hee haw. Complete with all the performative buffoonery one would expect from Sanders this show is pretty much a podcast in a dress and a really really bad one at that. I suppose die hard Deion fans may enjoy this somehow but others will likely find this to prove that a little of him talking goes a long way.

I have been using Tubi for about a year and I'd have to say the commercial for We Got Time Today is one of the most annoying and overplayed commercials I've ever seen! Since it began airing over the past six weeks or so, it feels like Tubi plays this same commercial 99% of the time there is a break during the shows I'm watching! It has become so annoying that I find myself automatically hitting mute and completely tuning out whenever a break is about to begin.

The commercial for the show is very unappealing, so I can't imagine actually subjecting myself to watching an episode of the show itself!

Deion and Rocsi's chemistry is unmatched. I've never seen a talk show duo with this much natural flow. Their debates and banter are genuinely fun to watch, and the dynamic feels effortless. The show also gives you a completely different side of Coach that you don't get to see anywhere else. I've really been enjoying the guest lineup too, it's a solid mix of personalities, with just the right amount of sports without it feeling like too much. Honestly, I'd recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of Coach Prime and is looking for a great casual watch. There's also a good number of episodes to keep you entertained!

I love Tubi. It's a horror fan's dream. I don't like to complain as it's free with ads. But the ad for this show is just overkill. Almost EVERY commercial break pumps this unappealing show into your brain with loud obnoxious music that is often mixed much louder than the film you're watching, making it far too jarring.

Just out of sheer curiosity, I tried to watch the first episode. I mean, if they're promoting it to this degree, there has to be something to it, right? Well, as a previous reviewer stated, it's really nothing more than a podcast in a dress. It's boring. It doesn't need to be a show and it most DEFINITELY doesn't need to be promoted this much.

Tubi, please, if you're reading this, I'm begging you: STOP DRILLING THIS COMMERCIAL INTO OUR SKULLS.

I have to admit my opinion of Deion Sanders wasn't a good one. I thought he was all flash and no substance. Seeing him in this program changed that. He cares about his people and he has a deep love for humanity. He really is a good man and a level-headed brother.

I like talk shows that talk. I dislike most of the ones on today that are pushing too hard to get an audience...following some kind of algorithm to get the most watchers so they can get the most advertising revenue. I especially hate the ones that have commercials built into dialogue and programming! I just want a talk show, okay?! I miss Dick Cavett, I miss Michael Douglas and Dinah Shore, and sometimes Johnny Carson. They asked intelligent questions. The ones on today are the total opposite, and that is why I don't watch most of them. Stephen Colbert is the exception!

Unfortunately, the programs that I do enjoy end up getting canceled, so I try not to get too invested in them, but I like this one and I watch it when I have a chance.
