I H8 AI

Lmao, they pulled this from Letterboxd because they were getting blasted (rightfully so) so I'll just reiterate what I said on there. If I had access to AI to help with my home movies as a kid, I'd have grown into one hell of a boring, miserable jerk. If I had grown up with access to AI, I'd never have learned how to shoot around an effect I can't pull off, I'd have never learned how to make the best out of the resources at my disposal, I never would have learned that your movies don't have to look good to tell the story you still want to tell. To those who think that this short in any way represents something beneficial to the artistic process, I'm sorry. I truly am.

This is a short "film" made by a hack director who is more than happy to become a useful idiot to promote bad AI tech. The only problem is that he forgot how to do the useful part of his role as a useful idiot.

If the point of this film was to promote how great an AI tool is, it failed miserably at making AI films look good. Instead we have a very boring ad for a tool that fails to promote anything. In the end, all this ad did was make you hate AI or make you double down on your hate for AI.

Next time either make the tool better and hire a real director who is actually good at their job. Saving penny's will cost you in the end.
