I have loved NCIS for years, but this season is the worst that I've seen in a long time. First, why would NCIS be in charge of organizing an attack on another country? It's not their job. They are supposed to be investigating crimes in the Navy. Why would the FBI be arresting NCIS agents and, as usual, refusing to even talk to the agents. Why would the FBI be ordering an attack on another country? It's not their job to order attacks. The Pentagon is in charge of anything like this. This is a ridiculous episode. It appeared that no one in charge knew what they were doing and simply wanted to start WWIII. Don't waste your time watching this one.
First I'd like to congratulate the 7th grader who wrote, directed, and produced this episode. Miss Malloy only gave him a C but somehow he got it turned into an NCIS episode. Not much in the episode made sense to the adult mind. The characters reacted to an incredibly serious situation like kids on a dodge ball playground. Only a 7th grader could plausibly believe that NCIS would be so involved in this. And then the characters act irrationally throughout. Wandering around the country side. The FBI fails to search the building; multiple times. Time almost runs out because the character decided to run upstairs in stead of using the phone she used moments before.
Every year they put out one awful episode. Hope this was it. Fire those responsible for preventing this.

I never comment on IMDB since now because this episode was a total waste of energy. I've recorder it and then watch it but I've spammed my +10sec button. Never done that in 22 years of NCIS!
This episode doesn't worth the time I've spent to watch it and shouldn't have even be filmed. I though at the beginning it was an exercice, but turn to be a real threat and no, I haven't get it. Ask myself why they didn't blow the thing and tell people it's fake...
You are free to jump it, it won't affect the rest of the season, be assured ! And I don't what to add to my review but I still have some caractères so here we go.

A typical exciting NCIS with lots of action suspense and trauma - rapped around probably the most dangerous message a highly rated and watched Series can possibly give - ignore the the chain of command in the time of war - We have maybe 30 minutes from an expected attack to respond - we don't have time for trauma , discussion or conflict or certainly a rogue organization disregarding a direct order for the President and Joint Chiefs - seriously and than glamorizing it like it was a good thing because they got lucky - That is like trying to commit suicide and the gun jammed. And finally the Jess - Jimmy loop took it from a 2 to a 1 - the most ridiculous romance ever between the warrior and nerd right out of the 3 stooges - turns my stomach.
I thought this was pretty good. Interesting and entertaining. It is a TV show and meant to be entertainment. It does address an important question that is probably on many peoples minds but it does not do it in a dark way. Resolved in 1 hr, so fast paced. The other reviews I read don't seem to understand the significance of the story line and the consequences of "following orders" of idiot, warmongering politicians and generals. Is Nuclear War better than disobeying orders. There were 2 moments that were significant to me 1st when Parker brings up that it is duty to disobey unjust or illegal orders. The 2nd is when Parker asks the FBI agent why he decided to give them the extra time. The agent talks about his faith and doing the right thing.

- GoofsOnly an elected or appointed President that has taken the oath of office has the authority to order a nuclear strike, including low-yield precision tactical nuclear weapons. Someone who is the temporary acting President, like the President Pro-Tempore of the Senate is here, does not have the authority to order such a strike. The only time the acting President would have this authority is when the President is unable to resume the duties of the office and the acting President has taken the oath of office and been formally sworn in by a Supreme Court Justice.
