I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Was not always sure of the main character's intentions, but I guess it wasn't the main point. I mean helping someone for a certain healthy limit is nice, I get it, but after awhile it becomes a little weird.
Both leads played their role very well, very believably. I liked the pace of the movie too. Never too slow, never too fast.
I will check the other works of the director, he seems very talented.

Enemies starts from a powerful idea: two lives at odds that, forced by circumstances, must reconsider their hatred. David Valero builds a drama that aims to move and make you reflect, with a neighborhood setting that feels close and recognizable.
The film has strong moments, especially when it lets silence, gestures, and those looks full of resentment and pain speak for themselves. That's where the honesty of the story shows, when it doesn't need to underline everything. However, at times it falls back on devices clearly designed to force an emotional response, losing some of the naturalness found in the best films of this type.
It doesn't reach the rawness or authenticity of Daniel Guzmán's works, which have elevated neighborhood cinema to another level. Here the story works, but it lacks that punch of truth that stays with you long after leaving the theater.
Even so, it's an interesting film, with a strong soundtrack and direction that shows promise. Perhaps uneven, but sincere enough to make it worth watching.

Loved it !!! Recommended for sure! The writing was superb. The story takes a great turn that I was not expecting. It became a wonderful experience that made me think about how people can be judge without knowing the full story of human being. I don't want to give much lol just watch it and be ready for a portrait that will change your way of thinking!
A beautiful film about friendship. The themes of friendship, bullying, and forgiveness are beautifully addressed. Impeccable direction, script, and music. Christan Checa is stunning; he's very reminiscent of Tom Holland physically, and his acting skills make it seem as if they went to the same school. If this young talent goes to Hollywood, they won't let him go, and he'd be the next Antonio Banderas or Javier Bardem. Kevin Feige, the Russo Brothers, or James Gunn should keep an eye on him.
The film is a journey of mixed emotions from the first to the last scene.
One of the successes of the direction lies in the way of making characters' emotions in an absolutely close way.
Additionally, the unexpected development of events leaves no one indifferent and captivates the viewer from the beginning of the film.
Congratulations for the great work.
