Eccentric Romance

This BL series is a collaboration between South Korean and Thai film makers. Which makes me wary of its quality, because I've watched "Love Is Like A Cat" before watching this series. One of the main problems in that series was the language fiasco. They created some sort of wireless translation device which enabled the Thai actor to converse with the Korean actors using each other native languages. It's so funny watching Mew putting on the earpiece every time he wanted to talk to other people.

And as it turns out, the language problem is still the main problem in this series. They made the Thai college student studying in a campus where all Korean students magically understood Thai without having them speaking Thai and vice versa. I'm sorry, it's just too hard for me to swallow. So even if the murder mystery is a little intriguing and the couple made some sparks, I'm still not that keen on giving this series high rating. 6 stars is more than generous in my opinion. Next time if you wanna collaborate, make sure to solve the language problem without forcing the audience to believe the unbelievable. In other words : learn each other's languages and use them!
