Extinction

T the start, Extinction blends documentary-style footage with post-apocalyptic monster invasion elements in a visually striking way, providing some background to the story. These early segments explain how scientists accidentally opened a portal to another dimension, unleashing demonic monsters into our world and effectively ending life as we knew it.

The rest of the film follows a lone man on his journey through a desolate land now crawling with monsters. I found the visual effects surprisingly good for a short film like this. While the concept isn't particularly unique, it has strong potential to be expanded into a full-length feature-I'd definitely watch it.

And with the interesting cliffhanger, I'm really curious to see what happens next.
