The Cleanists

Original and surreal comedy definitely worth watching. Managing to make people laugh is hard enough, let alone doing so while at the same time creating a satisfying narrative arch in each of the 5- minute episodes. The young cast is quirky but relatable and their performances are well- suited to the style of the show. Again, getting their personalities across in such short episodes is an achievement. The show isn't just for young people though. The style and the type of jokes in it have a dark edge which provides depth and makes the sitcom enjoyable for a broader audience. There are lots of comedies out there that rely on sexism, racism or purely 'douche-bag humour.' It's great to see that The Cleanists does none of that. If you have to choose, have a look at the episode with the pool party.
