Greece ( and Croatia ). An American and his Greek room mate in a trip who represents occasion to discover the other in a clash of mentalities, misunderstandings and personal experiences.

A summer short film, pretty superficial story but not boring, simplistic in fair way , reminding, in essence, grace fair dose of humor, essential things.

One of stories about homosexual essence, populated with boys with gorgeous bodies and nice swim suits and underwaires and, not last, good opportunity to remind or suggest a travel in Greece. And, sure, to enjoy by one of stories pretending only some fun after a work day.

So, just pretty nice ( not only as homosexual story )

'Foreign Relations' heads for Greece, where a young American man is on a tour of the country. As he's on his own and there's limited space, he ends up being roomed with a Greek man, which causes issues as language problems and culture clash means he can't be sure whether his roommate would have a problem with the fact he's gay – or whether he'd mind that he's developing a crush on him.

It provides a decent level of tension between the American tourist and his unexpected roommate. But it's all a little too convenient. When it sticks to the two men, it's not bad at all – and it certainly doesn't hurt that they're both pretty hot and don't mind stripping down when it's called for. What helps 'Foreign Relations' is that it has a bit of a sense of humour, and that in turn helps raise the sexiness level.

My 2 cents to the existing reviews: well done. The simple, largely comic story and the happy resolution, along with some great scripting and direction, make this story work. The acting could have been tighter/cleaner, but that's easily overlooked given the rest of the film's strengths, and the actors do give a credible performance. It doesn't end with a bow on it, but there's a lot of hope, and the comedy really both shines through and adds to the story. This could have been sappy or outright silly, but it avoids both pitfalls.

Quality gay short films are in short supply - make sure you add this one to your list.
