The One I'll Love Someday

(no spoiler) Subaru yet again amazes me with his progression as a character. This episode takes the hype that the last one started to set up and handled it beautifully. I love the way it's all falling into place now, and I'm very looking forward to the second half where our main characters will finally get back.

Certain reveals were made this episode that I genuinely didn't expect, and it makes me happy to see all these side plots being handled with such care.

I thought Emilia was cooked until 'that' part.

Subaru and Reinhardt are locked in and I can't wait to see how they deal with their adversary.

In general: the voice acting as always is on point, beautiful animation, characteristic re:zero humor and hype all around.

This was yet another great adaptation and i definetly recommend to watch. The visuals are much are gettkng better and bettrr and also the new charecter design is absolulte top. The first extentended episode qqs one of my favorite favorite ones even though it didn't have any action it was still refreshing to see Subaru beeing happy and all the other characters just enjoing life a bit. The fights are pretty good and i wont go into detail because i font want to spoiler but they were quite brutal right of the beginning. Also i think some people are just hating because they simply dont want to admit that a anime can be just as good as their other favorite anime like bleach.

Funny enough this might be my personal favourite episode of the season. All the build up before to this moment really solidifies and amplifies how I feel when Reinhardt and Subaru show up...one being the Hero of today while the other holding the mantle of the Hero's of ancient times. Im so glad they left out on this note until the next part of this arc due to it building up the expected "Counter Attack.". It keeps an audience urgently waiting while excited to see whats to happen. So far these 8 episodes have been nothing short of perfect. From the adaptation, the voice acting, the animation and the story all create a great semblance of balance to an arc that has so much to go for it. I will see yall in 2 and half months when the next cour comes out!
