Don't Lie

This is a fairly basic story-we've seen many variations of it, even from this same director. Don't Lie follows a social media influencer who fakes an assault to gain more views. At its core, it's a modern take on the old folk tale The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

There are both pros and cons here. On the plus side, the story moves quickly and doesn't waste time on unnecessary details, making it a brisk watch that never drags. On the downside, the acting feels forced and unnatural, which takes away from the overall impact.
