Very sensitive and credible

This movie addresses a difficult topic - how a family can deal with the sudden and unexplainable suicide of a father and grandfather days before they were going to celebrate his 80th birthday. This is treated masterfully, almost like a theatre play, with excellent actors. There are no easy sentiments or black/white characters, but sensitiveness and depth. There are moments of profound sadness and times of laughing. People fight and embrace. One is fascinating by watching how each of them reaches the point where he/she can finally cry over the loss. I found that I wanted to spend more time with this family, from the amazing young Stella to the grandfather's first love Bernadette.
