'HEART OF REX' by Dr Fiko Doss. This script was cast and in pre-production as the sixth cast recording. Call sheets were sent out to all actors who had accepted these roles. At the last minute - the day before the scheduled recording - two to three cast members pulled out of their commitments, making themselves unavailable. Due to availability of recording studio and its related bookings, producer Sean McIntyre had to cancel the planned cast recording outright. He still harbour's the ambition to record this script. Four years earlier in mid 2012, 'HEART OF REX' by Dr Fiko Doss was presented in a 'live' script reading format at Sean McIntyre's innovative script development incubator: 'A Fistful of Scripts' at Theatre Works, St Kilda Melbourne Australia.. During the audience Q & A immediately afterwards, the audience and cast wholeheartedly rated this script of exceptional quality. This feedback was communicated back to the writer who resides in the UK. Dr Fiko Doss later completed a PhD in poetry at University of Surry, UK.
