The Wahlberg family has graced our screens for decades, and now they're all back in this reality series focused on the new burger restaurant fronted by brother Paul Wahlberg, with heavy funding coming from other brother Donnie and of course Marky Mark himself. Built like a very expected reality tv show around a semi-famous family, almost all the interactions were heavily scripted, and Mark Wahlberg himself showing up either in a phone call or from a flight in a private jet at least once per episode. The family itself isn't all that interesting, but somehow at the end of season only nine episodes I found my self wanting for more, unfortunately it just wasn't available for streaming anywhere easily. Luckily for those who can find it, at its completion there were ten whole seasons to get through and even a spin-off Donnie Loves Jenny at one point. I would have liked to hear more about Paul and his restauranteer skills, but it didn't seem like it wanted to be that kinda show, instead focusing on mostly made up family squabbles. Maybe I'll check out the rest eventually, but for now they mostly felt like some old men on the block pretending to be kids.
I honestly don't understand how people can write about how a "sibling rivalry annoys them." I'd have to ask "were you an only child?" in response. For those of us who had sisters and brothers this is right up your alley. First and foremost it's an Irish household, they recall tons of stories from the not so conventionally nuclear family of the 80's...
This series is a breath of fresh air from all the other reality type shows that are on. One thing they are real, their lives are real the things that happen to them are real.
Expressing the feelings of old and healing those feeling through some competition is the way it should be. I'm sure Mark took a beating for his brother and Donny has taken one for him...
Can't wait to see where this goes next season I recommend this series to anyone not afraid of the REAL REALITY SHOW. That's all it is, unapologetic look into the lives of the "Wahlburgers" not just the burger joint but the family itself.

When the Walhburgers reality TV show first began, I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching the interactions between the brothers, and the genuine warmth and caring that was shown within the family members. Paul appeared to be the punching guy who took everything with a smile. However, now it seems to have gotten stale and there really isn't any kind of scenarios that can be written regarding the Wahlburg cast. Most of the recent episodes have become strained, trying to tell a story. Oh well, I guess every good thing must come to an end.
Its disgusting how NACHO is treated like a circus clown for Marks entertainment...i have been binging this show until I just saw mark offer a reward for eating dirt and grass after golfing???who does that to another person?? That's so degrading...I thought NACHO was one of his best friends..i guess NACHO feels like that's the only way to be included??? I'm so disgusted that no one in the group has ever said anything to mark about how he treats nacho...i guess bcuz he's the golden goose??? I have no respect for mark wahlberg!°NACHO will probably die from all the outrageous stuff mark dares him to eat, for his amusement...disgusting...and studios shouldn't want to hire a person like that to make movies!!!
If you're expecting a true reality show, this isn't it. Although, at times it is entertaining.
Alma, a heavy smoker refrains from lighting up onscreen.
Heavy promotion of their restaurant.
