    Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal

The storyline is just an okay, but not commendable...Cinematography is commendable....Direction of the movie has been a total mix up. It is like making a movie from the thin air. You will wish to leave the theater, while you were watching it. Characterization of this movie is alright. The flow of the movie has broken here and there. This movie has been made as a love story sensation with suspense, but there was very little thrills. There are lot loopholes in this movie. There are two protagonist in this movie, one is an introvert who refuse to speak whatever it happens. At many situations of this movie we have guess what he is talking. The other protagonist talks a lot, with very little understanding. The antagonist in this movie only in like 3 or 4 scenes. I feel this movie is like a inspirational movie from "Life of Pie" with lot of other Hollywood movies. I would say this director stop watching Hollywood movies and try to make something original....

    best of luck.

A one time watch Soft fell movie

Mosayile kuthirameenukal: A movie that myt pull you to theater for a watch! And to an extent it cud justify the reason!however the film showcased some evident downs. To start with ..the movie all together will not ask u to clear your ass at the interval..sails good and entertains you till first half and u might leave eager to watch the next. But the second half run with a lag..as the second half begins it really make you count your fingers to finish the film...but a while after it switches the gear to a more defined approach! The script overall had some missing and at some point it felt like some scenes were just made up to give a progress.. Ajith did a good work as a debutante and he has done some great works..best wishes for him.. Lakshadweep was damn beautiful through the lens..ABHINAND RAMANUJAM rocks after aamen! The background music and the DOP was the pros that covered up the flaws of script..good showcasing by sunny wayne and asif.... To say its a one time watch if you don't expect a too good movie.. Once again Abhinand rocks!!!

MKM unfolds with a soliloquy of Alex(Asif Ali) who narrates his tale.A rich spoiled person who is the 14 th son of a headstrong Christian father played by Nedumudi Venu. He becomes an orphan with immense wealth, after his parents death. He is at odds with his innumerable relatives including his siblings who are much elder than him. As fate would have it he finds himself in the jail after being double crossed by one of his friends. Life takes a turn for him in the jail. His inability to come to terms with the jail atmosphere prompts him to attempt a jail break. After a couple of failed attempts Alex succeeds.Soon his destiny is intertwined with Akbar Ali(Sunny Wayne), a fellow jail breaker.

    It is different

Half way through the movie. Quite novel so far. Lakshadweep malayalam is similar to kerala malayalam and has interesting differences. Then there is the inside views of the sea. Beautiful. Thanks to Anoop , my MA team mate for recommending this movie.

Slow paced. Nice treatment. References to Padmarajan movie season - something for a fan like me to be happy about. Lakshadweep culture is something I do not know about. The representation in the movie is that of a kerala that is a few years back.Warm helpful crowd.

Set against a completely different back drop, the incidents in the movie are quite different.

The movie does offer some emotions / insights as well through the romance that Sunny Wayne has for the heroine. On the whole , quite charming. Worth another watch.

    Brilliant Film

Woah!I am speechless, I went in without much expectation.but to my surprise,it really blown me away!Mind blowing cinematography, brilliant screenplay and top notch direction. Sunny wayne's character Akbar Ali steals the show.Asif Ali was at his best.Swathy reddy carried her amen performance forward.oh forgot to tell you about prashant Pillai's score, that was something different, making the film stand out. There was this one actor caught my attention , don't know his name he played the character suliaman in lakshadweep.I felt that character adds soul to the screenplay.I had a plan to watch another film on the same day, but decided not to;because i did not want to lose the feel.I hardly write reviews but this film needs a pat on the back.

I really appreciate the director's vision to come up a cinema like this. I am fan of Ajith Pillai now !
