'It Just Became Undeniable': Severance Creator Talks About Gwendoline Christie’s Fight Scene
Image
This article contains Spoilers for Severance Season 2, Episode 10, "Cold Harbor."

Severance’srecent Season 2 finale was a whirlwind that included an awkward conversation between Innie Mark (Adam Scott) and his outie, a marching band, and a tense scene with a baby goat and its handler, Lorne (Gwendoline Christie). That scene culminated in an action-packed and violent manner as Innie Mark sneaks down to Lumon’s testing floor, where little Emile the goat is about to be sacrificed in the name of Lumon founder Kier Eagan.

Speaking with Esquire, Severance creator Dan Erickson talked about casting Christie, who is known for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the tough-as-nails Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones.

“We had cast Gwendoline (Christie). She’s of course, known for playing Brienne of Tarth and having this imposing fighting prowess on Game of Thrones,” Erickson said. “We had cast her with no intention of putting her in...

Upcoming shows include Netflix double Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls and Holly Willoughby, and Battle Camp.

In an internal email to staff sent out this afternoon, seen by Deadline, Fremantle UK CEO Amelia Brown said “whilst this is a positive move for the company, I do understand that with any change...
