I thoroughly enjoyed Manavat Murders for its gripping storyline and outstanding cinematography. The combination of black magic with a crime thriller was unique and truly captivating, it added an intriguing twist that kept me hooked throughout. The visuals were stunning, and the pacing was perfect.
However, the climax was a letdown. It felt overly straightforward and lacked the excitement or unpredictability I was expecting after such a strong buildup. For a series with such a creative premise, the ending felt rushed and uninspired.
While the journey was thrilling, the destination could have been much better. A good watch overall, but the ending might leave you wanting more.

The web series is an enthralling and immersive experience from the very first episode to the last. The brilliance of its direction is evident in how seamlessly the narrative unfolds, maintaining a perfect balance between high-intensity moments and deeper emotional beats. The performances by the cast are nothing short of exceptional, with each actor bringing their character to life in a way that makes the audience deeply invested in their journey.
The storyline is intricately woven, with every episode building suspense and adding layers to the plot. As the tension rises, the pacing remains impeccably tight, ensuring that there's never a dull moment. The sharp twists and turns in the plot are unpredictable, keeping the viewer constantly guessing and eager to see what happens next.
Moreover, the characters are richly developed, each with their own motivations, complexities, and growth arcs. Their relationships and conflicts feel real and relatable, drawing the audience further into the world of the story. Every action and decision they make feels meaningful, adding to the depth of the narrative.
This series is the kind that pulls you in so deeply that before you realize it, you've binge-watched the entire season. It offers not just entertainment but an engaging, thought-provoking experience that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates smart, well-executed storytelling combined with top-notch performances.

Ashutosh Gowariker was a let down ! He doesnt match the part.. but overall the rural setting,70's settings are well done. Direction and screenplay are nicely knit. Only if a able actor was casted instead of gowariker who cud acted naturally and like a marathi actor n not only a constantly hand waving english and uncomfortable marathi speaking performers, series wud hv given a greater effect! Sai sonalee and makarand actually look menacing n awesome.. even supporting cast has acted actually well. Series pace shud have been a bit more faster with better pacing n not lagging behind the thinking of the audience! We actually can think ahead of the series. Still works for me minus gowariker ! He isnt a good actor.
"Manvat Murders" is a Marathi crime series that dives into the horrifying true story of seven murders that rocked a rural town in 1972 India. The story unfolds through Officer Ramakant Kulkarni, who takes on the case, battling against a community gripped by superstition and blind faith. The show effectively portrays the cultural and social obstacles in an era where investigative tools were limited, adding an authentic layer to Kulkarni's methodical approach.
The series excels in its atmospheric depiction of rural India and highlights social issues around superstition and ignorance that were rampant at the time. However, while the historical and cultural aspects are compelling, the pacing suffers. The plot becomes predictable, and the lack of suspense reduces the impact of the final reveal, leaving the viewer wanting a bit more thrill and tension.
Overall, "Manvat Murders" offers a thought-provoking view into a bygone era, but thriller fans may find it lacking in suspense. For those intrigued by true crime with a strong cultural commentary, this series is worth a watch.
