The core subject of the movie is genuinely important - it highlights the harsh reality of caste discrimination in society, which deserves serious attention. However, beyond the theme, everything else falls apart.
The plot is poorly constructed, the storytelling is weak, and the acting is absolutely over the top - almost unbearable at times. It felt more like a forced drama than a sincere effort to address a serious issue. Despite starting with high hopes due to its 9.3 rating, the film turned out to be one of the worst I've ever watched. Even a 0.5 rating feels generous.
There are several far better films on this topic that handle it with the depth, sensitivity, and realism it deserves. Unfortunately, this movie is not one of them. Not recommended.
