My Husband's Mistress

I decided to take a chance and watch My Husband's Mistress on Tubi. The synopsis sounded ok, but I still thought it would either be a hit or a miss. It turned out to be a huge miss and not at all interesting or exciting. The actors in the lead roles were not at all attractive or intriguing. In fact, I found the actors in the intermittent ads to be far more appealing. The plot was a simple one of infidelity and revenge, and lacked complexity. Attempts at building up tension completely failed. The characters' backstories were were barely developed, and one character's was totally unbelievable and too contrived. There was a little foreshadowing, very little. The climactic scene was much too predictable and rushed. It seemed as if the writers just wanted to get it over with quickly. I can't think of any good reason to recommend this film. A complete 1-star miss.
