Betray: Thirst

I recently saw this film and was thoroughly blown away by the story. I was able to identify and relate to multiple characters and the ending of the movie gives us all something to think about. Great film! The actors & actresses did a tremendous job with believability and selling their emotions. The production quality was 10/10. I often watch indie films and very few of them are able to deliver a quality script, quality acting, & quality camera work/editing. Needless to say, this film did. Jaron Lockridge definitely has a knack for writing and capturing dramatic imagery. Would definitely watch this film again.

Top-notch performances. The cast has amazing chemistry. The film is expertly directed with a tight script. The cinematography and sound design are elite. The film is tense when it needs to be and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are comedic moments that keep things from getting melodramatic. There is not a moment that feels forced in this movie and that is a testament to the amazing actors and deft direction from Lockridge. This is independent film at its best. If this director were given a Hollywood budget his originality would put the stale copy/paste stories they are continually releasing to shame.

First off I would like to say I have been following Jaron Lockridge's work and I have to say the movies get better and better each time. The sheer passion that is put into each film definitely shines through. This was by far one the best movies I have seen from Jaron. All of the actors and actresses brought everything to the table. The story line was so diverse and so relatable in every way just because this is real Life situations. The mix between the comedic relief and the serious moments brought this movie full circle. Everett (Darren)and Kennon(Jamal) amazing work. Totally brought those characters to life. Bre(Jada), Sherika(Ebony),Jessica(Shavonne)...ladies you nailed those performances. . Amy( Melissa) the city attorney.. can we say boss lady!! Your sass and "I mean business"demeanor brought that scene to life. Definitely need more movies as a boss lady lawyer in your future. This film deserves all the praise. The blood,sweat and tears put into this shows and each film just gets better and better. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have been following Kenon Walker's work for over 20 years. I have just within the last couple of years started following the work of Jaron Lockridge. I have to say this is by far best work on both accounts. From the opening credits till the end, this film is so well written, well acted, the cinematography is on point, and the cast pull it together to draw you in and take you on this emotional roller coaster! I had a fabulous time watching this film and cannot wait to see the next in the series!!! Do yourself and your significant other a favor, enjoy this film May 6! The story was well written and the quality of the videography was phenomenal. The cast was beautifully and strategically handpicked to bring forth the vision. I believed each character as they were using their gift of acting to tell this beautiful story. I could also empathize with each one of them. I laughed so much and I was talking back to the screen. When you do that everyone knows it's got to be a good show. I appreciate the producers gift of being a story to life. Thoroughly enjoyed this screen play and can't wait to see it again. I believed Jaron and the cast will be seen world wide!
