Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus

This series, which follows on from 'Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai' and the film 'Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girl' sees protagonist Sakuta Azusagawa slightly older and studying at university. He is still going out with Mai Sakurajima and still involved with those effected by 'puberty syndrome'. One day he meets a girl in a miniskirt Santa costume; it soon becomes apparent that he is the only person who can see her; is she somehow involved in the syndrome? There is also a new thing to worry about; people are having prophetic dreams about what will happen on a certain day; what does it mean for those that don't have the dream?

I thought this was an enjoyable addition to the 'Rascal Doesn't Dream' story. I would certainly advise potential viewers to watch the previous series first as no time is wasted introducing characters or explaining the syndrome. If you enjoyed previous stories I'd certainly recommend this one; it was great to see the main characters again and the new ones are interesting too.

As a LN reader the anime skipped so much interaction between Mai San and Sakuta but it's still Peak. No complain about this anime upto now and new movie is also announced. I hope they can create another LN where we can get Mai san and Sakuta getting married. I would be so glad if that happens. All over 9.5/10.

At one point I was sitting with a timer and tracking how many seconds Maysan was in this episode.

All the characters look the same, even Maysan is not very different, only the voice acting character and the character can tell that it is her.

Open any fanart - the detailing of the characters there is dozens of times better.

I am a big fan of the first season and the excellent first film, but everything that followed is just a spit, better close the arc and do something else.

The only people who are more entertained are children who give 10 out of 10 to each episode, where they just sit in a cafe and chat for 15 minutes.
