Fun trip into the familiar and not-so-familiar reaches of horror movies

We all know that horror relies on a lot of familiar triggers to get us going. What we may not know is that a lot of these things have been around since the days of Nosferatu and James Whale's "The Old Dark House" (one of the movies featured here). This episode pulls up maybe 100 different movies ? And finds the links between them all -- it's really fun and doesn't judge people for liking how predictable some of the tropes-that-become-cliches can be. As a fan I appreciate that because people who don't like horror use that as a line of attack. They also get into how directors take our belief that we know what's coming and twist it around to surprise us.
