Average entertaining movie but typical copy paste story .and whole story was already been shown in trailer that really absurd .they must update this aspect I'm future films. Moreover there were no twists in movie .same profile storyline that is being obvious since start. Howoever this movie may be made with more twists.hamauyun saeed and mahira acting was good but with poor story their acting was overshadowed. Songs were good. Performance were good .but again story was obvious and obsolete .hamauyun saeed and mahira khan fitness and appearance was good but again weak story overshadowed their performances.
This movie was good I mean the cinematography especially the music direction and location of this film was good. But only problem with the movie is typical repeated and predictable story of this love angle. This movie was feel good at start but in the middle it felt slow and they need to add something new in the story. But on Eid a good movie to watch with your whole family. Humayun Saeed was brilliant in acting but Mahira Khan is unfit for this role.... I don't know why they don't pick Hania or Ayesha Omer or Mehwish... But overall a good time pass. So don't expect much from this Pakistani movie but it will be a good day out especially with family.
Great acting. No offense but better then all the Bollywood movies that are in the cinemas right now. Ahmed ali but and humayon saeed always rock. And what a director Mr nadeem baig isss.. absolute class so this movie is 100% Recommend. I felt mahira was a bit old looking for this movie but no hate to her she rocked this role so good work. Pakistan film industry is improving alot and we need more movies from pakistani industry getting into overseas cinema here in UAE and other Arab countries. ( DEEMAK MOVIE IS ALSO IN THE CINEMAS WHICH IS A HORROR MOVIE FROM PAKISTANI CREATORS HAVING A HUGE CAST.. I HOPE PEOPLE WATCH THAT TOOO).
Watched the first show. It was house full.
ARY films always produces good films.
The movie had somewhat similarity to a Rabbit Singh movie ' Ladies Vs Rickey Bhel'. But yet it was different with Pakistani vibes in it.
The location for the film were stunningly beautiful.
The dialogues were well chosen. Plot was good. The story was continuous and in rhythm.
The cast was Good Mahira was the excellent choice. But the Hero could have been better. Other than Hamayoun Saeed. Fahad Mustafa could have been the better choice.
It was good family entertainment at all. This movie is a good effort to revive our cinemas.
My Rating: 7/10.

As a business owner and a lifelong admirer of cinema, I see films as more than just stories - they're a sacred art form. I respect cinema the way one respects their faith. It's where I find peace, escape, and inspiration. In the past year alone, I've watched over 200 films across cinemas and OTT platforms - Bollywood, Hollywood, Punjabi, and of course, Pakistani films. Whenever a director from my country - like Nadeem Baig or Nabeel Qureshi - brings a new film to the screen, I feel it's my responsibility to support it, both emotionally and financially.
That's why I went in with high hopes for Love Guru. The names involved gave every reason to expect something special: Directed by Nadeem Baig, produced by Humayun Saeed and team, starring Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan - it had the ingredients for a blockbuster.
Sadly, the film failed to live up to that potential.
Let's give credit where it's due:
The actors did their jobs sincerely.
Cinematographer Suleman Razzaq delivered stunning visuals.
Direction was serviceable - but even a good director can't save a weak script.
The real issue lies in the writing.
Vasay Chaudhry's screenplay lacked depth, and the dialogues were forgettable. The core idea of the film was strong, but the execution failed to turn it into something memorable.
Another major disappointment was the music.
With such a massive budget, we expected originality - not recycled tracks. The remake of the iconic song "Aa" felt like a lazy choice. It lacked soul, and honestly, it felt disrespectful to the audience. If you have a big budget, why not give us something fresh?
My final thoughts: Love Guru is a missed opportunity. It had everything - budget, talent, visuals - but lacked the most important element: a strong, original heart.
👉 This is my honest review, and I do not recommend this film.

I will continue supporting Pakistani cinema with all my heart - but we must start respecting the audience's time, taste, and expectations.
