Impeccable in ALL aspects. The actings, the plots, the paces, the cinematography, the orchestra, the detailed props...
It's so not those shows which only pr their 18+ scenes with 0 plots (common in Thai bl if ykwim) . The story and the characters have layers, yet not too heavy to watch. You can explore the foreshadows and eastern metaphors, while be intrigued by the sparks of their chemistry.
It's nothing like what we've had in western tv series. Dont be fooled by the cover- the royal family may form in a similar way, but they runs with a different ideology. The storyline give a good portrayal on political intrigue - the treacherous current beneath the peace of the allied families, the distortion and suffer of people covered by resplendent facade of the monarchy.
DEFINITELY BEST BL series in 2025.

DEFINITELY BEST BL series in 2025.
The Ramil side couple made me lol but this is the first Thai bbl I actually sat through which makes sense cause it's very princess diaries themed which is a movie I absolute adore. Overall, the costumes and production quality were very good and idk if it's just me but them breaking character so many times during intense scenes romantic or not gave me second hand embarrassment lol.
After three long years of eager anticipation, The Next Prince is finally here-and it absolutely lives up to the hype. This brand-new series offers a story that is both emotionally rich and visually stunning. From the very first episode, it's clear that this is not just another drama-it's a refined and passionate production shaped by a dedicated team and remarkable talent.
Episode 1 opens in London, offering a cosmopolitan and elegant introduction that slowly transitions into the beautifully imagined kingdom of Emmaly, where the main story unfolds. This contrast between modern city life and royal tradition adds depth and intrigue to the series' visual identity.
At the center of it all are Zee and NuNew, the powerful acting duo known as ZeeNuNew. Zee plays Charan, a composed and emotionally complex character whose inner strength emerges with quiet intensity. NuNew, in the role of Khanin, brings softness, sincerity, and nuance to every scene. Their chemistry is undeniable and magnetic-each shared glance and moment of silence carries weight. These two actors elevate their roles with impeccable emotional range and authenticity.
Visually, the series is a triumph. The cinematography highlights the grandeur of Emmaly's royal settings, while London's sleek urban visuals offer a refreshing contrast. Costume and set designs are lavish yet tasteful, creating a believable world that feels grounded in elegance. The musical score, with its subtle orchestral cues, enhances the storytelling without ever overpowering it.
Narratively, The Next Prince strikes a delicate balance between romance and self-discovery. The script flows naturally, offering meaningful dialogue and organic character development. Each moment serves a purpose, building toward what feels like a much larger and emotionally powerful journey.
Special recognition goes to the production team, whose meticulous work brings this world to life. From lighting and sound to cultural details and symbolic imagery, nothing feels accidental. Every element contributes to an immersive viewing experience that resonates long after the screen fades to black.
In conclusion, The Next Prince is not just a series-it's a cinematic event. With ZeeNuNew delivering standout performances, and a production team that clearly values quality over shortcuts, this premiere sets a high bar for what's to come. After three years of waiting, fans can finally celebrate: the crown has arrived, and it shines brilliantly.

The production quality is stunning - from the lavish palace sets to the breathtaking costumes, every detail is rich and immersive. But what truly hooked me were the characters: From the very first scene, The Next Prince draws you into a world full of royal intrigue and hidden longing. Khanin is such a dynamic character - impulsive and passionate - while Charan balances him with his quiet, noble presence. Their dynamic is fascinating, and you can sense that their relationship will be as complicated as it is beautiful. Their chemistry is undeniable - every glance, every pause between them is loaded with tension and meaning. The plot masterfully weaves romance, intrigue, and identity struggles, leaving me hungry for more. If the rest of the series lives up to this premiere, we're in for something truly special. I'm already counting the days until the next episode.
The wait is over. After waiting since the dmd lineup in December 2022, on May 3rd 2025 we finally have The Next Prince episode 1. Everything is as it should be, the cinematography, the camera work, the lighting and coloring, the outfits, the acting, the emotions. Zee and NuNew really gave their all to this series and the budget is ginormous. The actions scenes of Zee were top notch and when NuNew cried, I cried along with him, when he found who he really is, I was bawling my eyes out. I hardly recommend this series to everyone who is ZNN fan, BL fan and royalty series fan, you won't regret it for sure.
