Dorota Zglobicka makes this short film which only 3 minutes in length.

the short was produced at the Ruger Hauer Filmfactory in 2009 which supports inspiring film-makers and Hauer actually added new narration to the short.

It is about two sisters (Geerteke van Lierop and Nicole Moerland) who meet their estranged mother (Monic Hendrickx) and try to connect with her during the course of the day.

We hear the thoughts of their late father (Rutger Hauer) who provides the melancholic commentary.

Like short films the visuals need to sell it. I think filming took place in Rotterdam and there are some good visuals and lightning in the boat and in the water but I did find it hard to follow.
