    Very emotional film

David's portrayal of this character is so believable. It was very emotional watching his struggles with this addiction. We lost my uncle, who was a heavy smoker, when I was young, but since then I have never been close to anyone who was addicted and didn't realize what a tough journey it is to quit. David made it seem so real. My hope is that this film will affect those with addictions no matter what they may be and change lives for the better. It was amazing to me that a silent film, which I did not expect this to be, could be so effective in getting the point of addiction across to the audience. Congratulations on this film. Can't wait to see other films done by Topp Scot Productions. I also enjoyed the music. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a job well done!

    Excellent!

I absolutely loved the film. The depiction of the journey that an individual faces when battling addiction is so honest and pure. Even when the main character doubts himself, there is strength in an unseen force that is watching over and protecting him.The idea that there is always someone there loving and believing in you, even when you don't believe in yourself, is powerful.

Every film I have seen from Topp Scot productions has been beautifully done, and this is no different. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a job well done. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this dream team!

    Emotionally delivered

After watching the trailer for the upcoming short film, Quitter I felt compelled to offer my opinion. Quitter is full of emotion portrayed through the actions of talented actors. David Topp delivers his talent through his actions without words. The scores of music is so perfectly fitting. Beautifully depicted without words. It delivers an important message that has affected everyone in some way throughout their life. Addiction can be through a product or a bad habit and can change your life & everyone around you. Thanks for taking the step to portray weaknesses to the world so that they may receive the needed attention. Another great production by Topp Scot Productions. Much success to your aspirations

    Masterful screenplay!

Though I have only seen the trailer for this film, I have every expectation of its being an excellent film. This opinion is primarily based upon other films that have been produced by the Topp Scot Productions group! And, with David Topp starring in this role, I already know that the film will be a quality film since he's a proved actor who strives to maximize any character he is portraying. We can always look forward to an emotionally charged performance in any Topp Scot Production and this film is no exception. With the brilliant way the screenplay weaves the viewer through the trials and tribulations of becoming a "quitter" will stay with you long after the film is over! Bravo to Topp Scot Productions and Duane A. Sikes for another WINNER!

    Kept my full attention

Addiction is tough...and this film shows just how frustrating it can be. I was completely engaged in the battle...as the actor took us on the journey with him. I loved the scenes, the music, and the actor. The plot was believable, mind-capturing, and pleasant to watch. I think the message came across clear, and gave me hope that others may be able to fight their addictions, too. With so many addictions showing up every day, this film could actually help others to not give up on themselves. They are more powerful than the addiction. I hope that anyone reading these reviews, or checking out the trailer, will offer it up to someone they know who is struggling. It is not too late.

    • Trivia
Dimes appear again in this film by Melanie Star Scot who uses them because of their frequent appearance in her personal life and especially on her film sets after the death of her father. There are many articles and blogs dedicated to the phenomenon of coins mysteriously appearing, supposedly from the spirit world from those who have passed away in order to let us know they are with us, watching over us and they are okay. This phenomenon was portrayed in the blockbuster hit Ghost (1990) starring Patrick Swayze
