I love this type of reality game shows, but this one is mediocore at best. The casting was okay, however I only recognized like 4-5 people. The major problem was game vareity, and creativity... I can't believe how uncreative, and boring were the games.... like a spelling contest really? AND reuse of previous games within a same season??? I guess that happens when you spend the 99% of the show budget on a huge tower.... The wheel is another thing, eviction based on luck? Interesting idea, but one of the contestant said perfectly... just stay silent, dont say anything and you will be fine.... if thats the best strategy in a game, then there is something wrong with the rules, because if you want to avoid being on the wheel, of course you just need to stay away from as much as possible from the other players, and just lay low....so there is a much to do for the next season(s) but it can be better.
Loved it!!!
I basically just watched this in search of new reality competition shows since I've been waiting forever for new episodes of The Amazing Race and The Floor. And I totally loved it, rewatched it again and followed the cast as well.
It was interesting due to the show's premise and backdrop, but what sealed the deal was the cast. The cast chemistry was phenomenal and the music actually slaps - tbh, one of the few shows I watched that did the background music right...I actually ended up watching some of the shows the cast were in especially Georgia's!!
Totally recommended for people looking for something fun, interesting, and exciting to watch.
All I can say, please make season 2 now!

I love these kind of shows. However, is it really necessary to show close-ups of bodily fluids exiting the orifices of the human body. It's disgusting. We don't need to see that kind of thing.
Another thing that annoys me about these shows is that they selecting participants from previous shows who have already had their chance at fame and fortune. Is the USA so lacking in basic talent? Most of these contestants are only slightly interesting, at best. Time to give other people a chance. I'm sick of seeing the same boring faces on every reality show that I watch.
The show itself is a good program, for those of us who love reality game shows. But the contestants need to be new, not sad people with zero talent looking to be famous.

Battle Camp is a fun show! As far as competition shows go, it has it all... drama, alliances, action, and a new element... luck! The wheel determines who stays or goes so while game play and strategy are important, anyone can go when the wheel is spun. This makes for some really dramatic moments. The cast is fun and likeable (except when they're not!) and the element of teams really makes you root for the people you like most. There doesn't seem to be contrived conflict and you can tell that genuine friendships develop between cast members. This show is worth a watch and I can't wait for Season 2!
I am only in episode two. The real emotions, dynamics plus supper editing and music. I could not hold back even though I was in a public place.
I am a Survivor guy watched seasons 1-28, this is different. As one cast member said, too many ways to lose and just one way to win.
I might come back to complete my review once done.
