Beautiful. One of beautiful films for who is unfair to look for explanations. Sure, the themes, the acting, the humor, the atmosphere, the chararters, the splendid house.
But, especialy , for realism. The great virtue of Nancy Duplaa performance is to offer the portrait of Eva who you know very well from near reality.
The admirable work of Nicolas Furtado is to propose a familiar silhouette, to, not only reduced at Asperger circle.
The essential character is the family and the conection between its members , the indivitualities, the vulnerabilities and doses of selfishness and generosity.
In short, beautiful to great.

Critic reviews find flaws in this satisfying exploration of love found between a working class woman, Eva, and an upper class younger man, Goyo, with Aspergers syndrome. Some may have merit, but I did not feel that there was a lack of emotional connection at all, rather that the portrayal seemed genuine. The pair are conflicted over their individual circumstances in ways that seem entirely credible.
An objection I do agree with relates to the character and story line of Eva's husband. Some development to give strength to the portrayal of his character would be appropriate, but on reflection, coming from my own non-Latin culture, Eva's choices seemed obvious. Trying to comment without spoilers, so that may seem obtuse. In short, cultures that favour machismo may give more license to the husband, but not in my world.
Goyo is well portrayed. Some reviewers found it difficult to get beyond the neuro-diverse presentation. I did not. I found both leads to be just right in their roles.

The best line of the movie was have you ever been with someone? And they listed all the characteristics of someone that everyone wants in a perfect companion.
And that person is so different from what we think is a normal person, just because they are unusual. The movie is a perfect depiction of how we cannot see how perfect people different from us can really be. It touched my heart because I met such a person and dismissed them because I was worried what someone else might think.
I still think of them years later and what i may have missed, if only I had not been pressured by society to not accept the perfect gift in front of me.
A truly gentle and wonderful human.

Beautiful love story about Goyo, a young Asperger Argentinean man from a high-class and rich family and his encounter with Eva, a much older working class woman. I like the spotlight this movie puts on contrasts between classes in Argentina. Goyo's sister is very superstitious while his brother has no issue to eat in popular places, go to football matches and is in my view one of the gems of this film, showing how to empower a man by treating him as normal, no matter how special he is. My only critic is regarding the character of Eva's violent husband t that might represent the Argentinean reality, but can also strengthen stereotypes.
Goyo is a movie that introduces us the difference between people that has different mental disorders and the people that don't, although I believe this movie explained in a perfect way how to be inclusive with people different to us and how to help them
This movie is a very important subject of how we as a society need to improve our manners for treating people different of us
In my personal opinion I highly recommend this movie but I believe is not for younglings or little kids because of the Depth of the plot and because little kids wouldn't understand the deep message of this beautiful movie.
I really liked this movie and because of that I give it 9 stars.
