Puddings

This short film brought out emotions in me that I never realised were in me truly an an incredible piece of art, the cinematography, acting, music and direction all come together in such a beautiful, elegant way it's incredible truly incredible.

The story of tragedy and comedy that exists in this film is easily understood by people all over the world and I love the characters and all of the different personalities that they represent not just in families but in society itself. It seems like the entire cast is part of every other movie that I love as well. The sounds, music, color and light in the film are just as much a part of the film as the people. This could be attributed to the method in which it was filmed. At many parts of the film I can still find myself feeling the emotions conveyed in the film. I never tire of appreciating this film.

My only reason that this film did not receive 10 stars was because the fact that character of Conor Polley "Mickey" was simply not used enough clearly throughout the film it is clear the Polley has strong grasp of the character of Mickey which is a very complex and deep character that all people can connect with. His inner insecurities with conkers clearly shows a deeper past with conkers and the character of "Mickey". It is clear that Mickey has been abused before possibly by conkers, possibly by his own family. I believe Mickey should have had a longer part to play especially with such an incredible actor Conor Polley.
