Joe Hollow where have you been? We are glad your back and where ever you where you have brought back another classic cult film. This on can make you jump out of your skin yet it tells the story that as a director Joe has brought forth. The cast seems to enjoy what they are doing because it comes out throughout the film. The awards that this film is receiving are well earned.
This will become a cult classic that will live through the ages. The faint of heart need not view this film because there are some scenes that seem so real that they pop off the screen and draw your attention to the film and nothing else.

Flesh of the Unforgiven is a diabolical terror train that rides through the dark heart of human pysche. A tripping fear feast to be slowly consumed and swallowed with a lump in your throat.
The performance are top shelf, with dramatic physical and psychological elements being thrown at the characters like a knife game at a carnival of carnage.
Director Hollow lights a slow spark in this slow burn film, which turns into a gigantic flame of fear.

Flesh of the Unforgiven is an example of why I enjoy Independent horror. They tell interesting stories and present them in a unique way. They also are not afraid to create something that is for everyone. Joe Hollow makes the most out of his budget and manages to feature some of the most talented folks in the indie scene. Some of the aesthetics are due to the limitation in budget but it is made up for in the writing, direction and talent on screen. If you are a fan of any of the individuals in this film or of true indie horror then you should check this film out.
Big Debbie Rochon fan here!!! Not sure I've seen her in a role like this. She never ceases to amaze me!!! Really enjoyed it!!! Joe Hollow's Diary of Death? Assuming this is a series. Especially by the way it ended. If so... I can't wait to see where all this goes!!! Nice work Joe Hollow. 8 thousand dollar to make. Heck of a movie for such a low budget.
Flesh of the Unforgiven sure isn't your run-of-the-mill horror feature, it's a mood piece that moves at a leisurly speed to properly build up its story while having no problems veering off into the associative, the absurd, the grotesque and even the surreal should need arise, but ties up all neatly into a solid and actually pretty compelling piece of horror that thanks to a relatable backstory goes for more than just the jugular. And an on-point cast help to keep the thing earthed, all resulting in pretty awesome genre entertainment.
