This episode was everything to me! It was intense and smart while being funnier than ever. Jean smart has always been a powerhouse actress so there's no surprise in her giving another stellar performance as deborah but it was hannah einbinder this episode who surprised me the most. Ava didn't get to have that many bold characteristics in the past but in this season she's a fierce force of nature, it's about time Hannah finally wins an emmy for her role.
I can't wait to see where their rivalry goes.
Hacks season often start slow and then peak at the end but damn idk how can it get more intense than this!

They ended Season 3 with a big cliffhanger, and I've watched the last ten minutes more than 10-20 times. It didn't fully look believable the way they showed it, but I loved how Ava finally stood up to Deborah. I hoped their fight would continue properly until the end of Season 4-not just Ava giving in to Deborah like she always does, or them becoming friends again after just 2-3 episodes.
The first episode continued their fight really well. The early scenes, with the panty prank, made me feel like the writing might have dipped a bit, but everything that followed was super entertaining. The show is still a high-quality comedy. The episode ended on a high note, and the fight could go anywhere.
So far, my ranking is: Season 2 > Season 3 > Season 1 I'm pretty sure this season will be better than Season 1 for me, since I thought that one was pretty average. I just hope it gives tough competition to Seasons 2 and 3. 3.75/5.
