OMG! Vampire

This Thai vampire BL series is super silly. Maybe because the main genre is comedy? The thing is, the jokes are cringey, cheesy and sometimes downright stupid. Like how they called the vampire city "Thaiwilight City" Or like how someone was trying to get a job by incessantly harassing the business owner. If that were happening in real life, you can kiss your future job good bye and say hello to prison life. Cause harassment can get you some serious jail time. But if I were to compare this series with Long & Frank's previous BL series, then I'll have to say that this one is the better one. I don't know why, but Long & Frank have gotten many bad series. Too bad, cause their on screen chemistry is really good.

Okay, I really tried to give OMG! Vampires a chance, but... nope. I had to drop it.

First off, the acting was just too cringeworthy for me. Not trying to be harsh, but it felt over-the-top in the worst way, and the comedic timing didn't land at all. Like, if you're going to do campy vampire comedy, at least make it funny. This one just felt lame and awkward.

The concept didn't help either. I mean, I'm totally into vampire stories, but is this one? Not for me. I expected something dark, mysterious, or at least fun in a quirky way. But instead, it felt like a parody that didn't even commit to being a parody. Vampires are supposed to be scary or sexy... or both. Not just... meh.

And don't get me started on the "vampire community" setting. It just looked and felt so fake, like they slapped it together last-minute. I couldn't suspend my disbelief for a second.

Long story short, I dropped it because I was bored, confused, and mildly embarrassed while watching. It's just not my kind of vampire vibe.
