I have been a fan of their partnership since Mano po legacy. They have an undeniable chemistry. Therefore, it was expected that you will scream during their interactions. You will smile uncontrollably and overall be happy about it
The story was good however I want to slowdown some of the scenes to appreciate it more and slowly build up the story and their love for each other. Some progression seems like a jump from one plot to another.
I love the scenes in Korea, it was narrated beautifully. I love how korean-drama feels the whole movie is. This is a typical rom-com, watch this if you want to laugh and feel love.

A movie that can make you feel different emotions, you can feel kilig and the drama at the same time. The chemistry of the main leads is what makes this movie so strong, you can feel their chemistry through the screen and as if you are inside the movie itself.
You can feel the emotions, the eyes speak for itself and also kudos for the hardworking director and staff behind the camera for the passionate and unending support for the main leads that make the movie successful.
Also, you can invite your friends and family to watch this movie because it's not just about love it's also talks about family.

Thought this was a very slow romance story; I would call it a "nice" romance story but not necessarily a rom-com as others are describing it. I didn't see any real funny parts in it. The story has a small bit of tension in it as another girl enters the scene to disrupt the flow but we all know from the very beginning how this is going to end anyway because it is so predictable that the tension added doesn't mean a thing. The male lead is cast perfect and the arrogance was played perfectly. IMO the casting for FL could have been better as I didn't see the chemistry that much on her side. The ending is a fairytale.
I only ever watch one local movie on repeat and that's Rico and Claudine's Got 2 Believe. I watched this movie 3 times already after its debut on Netflix.
This is a feel-good movie, something light yet thoughtful and poignant without coming across as preachy. I particularly like the natural banter and the seamless back and forth of Barbie and David, the expressive eyes, sexual tension and natural closeness - as if they were having irl convos and we're all peeping into their private world.
Highly recommended for people who wants to be entertained and end up falling in love after watching. Something you should pop up on your screen when stressed and looking for something to cheer you up.
