A beautiful, powerful and moving Must Watch

The Other is such an important and powerful film that everyone should see, especially those interested in peace (surely that should be everyone?!).

I hope it finds general release so that the wider world can see the fantastic peace activists on the ground rather than the divisive sloganeers who think they are doing the right thing miles away.

Despite difficult topics, it was beautiful and hopeful and I want to watch it again and again. I did cry but overall felt more positive upon watching this.

Next on my list is The Narrow Bridge, which sounds like it will be a good partner with this one.

Profound message for such times

Deeply touching, impactful, and mind bending. I see this movie leaving a huge impact, hopefully bringing more understanding and a new horizon for some peace in the Middle East. Amazing diversity of personal stories and perspectives. Everyone's participation was powerful and unapologetic. I was holding my breath the whole time and shedding tears. I learned more information I did not know. I kinda felt better about the whole situation after I watched it knowing the kind of people working on the grounds for a better world. A rare look at the humanity of both sides

The Other is a unique film about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which does what very few documentaries do: take a complex situation and show it's depth rather than try to simplify it to one or two angles! The richness of human experience, historic reference and difference in points of view by both Palestinians and Israelis is second to none and a rare look at the humanity of both sides. It is also a great film for starting to learn about the topic since it presents the key questions that are in the heart of this conflict- why is there no peace? And how can we see ourselves in that which we see as different?

Incredible perspective and message of hope

A profound work of art and people committed to peace in a land and life and circumstance that where they are not the norm. I deeply appreciated the insights and perspective. I truly hope for wider access and release so others can experience and discuss. The visuals , the land and the cinematography are powerful, beautiful and painful. A couple from both cultures together started a school and somehow it's even stronger now, that will stay with me for a long time. Seeing the kids grow and play together and the parents laughing is truly a gift. If you get the opportunity to see this, it drives thought and conversation,
