    A shockingly stupid ending

"Let's pack every single TV/movie trope into a single two-episode arc."

    Yeah, it was that bad.

There were times when if felt like a spoof -- like it was trying to elicit laughs in the stupidest ways possible.

By the end, I didn't even care who lived and who died.

I didn't even realize it was the final episode until halfway through Homecoming.

First they destroyed 9-1-1, and now the spin-off.

We need to enter a new golden era of television, where the people who make the shows actually understand, like, and respect their viewers.

At this point, I'm just padding the review to meet the absurd minimum requirements.

    Huh?

Sloppy writing. Corny ending, send this episode back to the 1970's where it belongs.

Lacked any character development, or any genuine plot, you could fast forward most of it and not miss anything important. More corn than than a taco, and it seemed as if the writers were taking the mickey.

Taking viewers to the brink before and then suddenly everything is magically all AOK, is just plain insulting - even for hollywood. By the end youre just waiting for it to be over just so you can say "yup - Ive seen it all". Not satisfying what so ever.

Who signed off on this and said "yeah - THATS how to finish a series!"?

    Great Show, Terrible Ending

I'm not sure if the show's producers and writers are in competition with Dexter and the Sopranos for the overall WORST series finale endings of all time, but this is for sure in my top three. It was like a bad dream or watching production simply give up on how to run this franchise off into the sunset. Instead they blew it up in the most bizarre way possible.

Without giving away any spoilers, I would say this two part ending was bleak, depressing, senseless, unsatisfying, and returning characters you wanted to see never came back. It was like production received word that the series was canceled right when they were making this two part finale the storylines were weak. It was not realistic, and overall felt rushed.

It was hard to sympathize or be empathetic.

As Captain Strand is crawling around the corner to get to the East Wall the large red digits on the wall behind him say "1908". In June 1908 an asteroid collided with the Earth near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River in Russia. It is named the Tunguska Event.
    • Goofs
Tripper, the injured motorcyclist, tells TK & Nancy it is Tuesday, the 10th. The show was released on Monday, February 3, 2025. The only Tuesday, the 10ths are September, 2024, December, 2024, or May, 2025. Due to the weather outside on the episode, it is like supposed to be September, as people on the college campus are in shorts and t-shirts.
