Routine Cop-Buddy Movie Becomes a Battle for Survival

Act 1, it seemed like a routine cop-buddy story. Act 2, a drug bust goes badly and there's a big shootout with Mexican cartel sicarios. But then they come under fire by a sniper, who kills all the cartel members. Act 3, becomes a battle of survival strategy between the two LEOs and the sniper and I was constantly yelling at the actors: pick up their body armor and ARs. It's very involving cuz you think: What would I do in this situation?
