This movie is a pain to watch; the main characters are written terribly, seemingly on purpose. The story doesn't make sense, and this movie is a waste of time. The only good thing about this movie is that it is shot well and has good camera work, just like all modern movies. Unfortunately, that doesn't save this story of disaster. This movie tries to make you root for these characters, but they are so selfish, with awkward moments that don't make sense. This movie's story goes back and forth between shallow apologies and regrettable mistakes. Don't waste your time with this movie, as this is another cash-grab movie that thinks it's so clever and deep about love and heartbreak but ends up falling terribly short. This movie is artificially shallow and is one of many examples of garbage movies that poorly represent Filipino cinema.
Outdated ideas rehashed. The film leans heavily on tired stereotypes about women, presenting them as overly supportive and patient to a fault. The lead actor's character had no depth or growth-he remained clueless and irresponsible throughout. It's frustrating to see him repeatedly let people down because the women around him are too kind to tell him to grow up.
When his ex-girlfriend finally called him out on his behavior, he assumed everything was fine just because they slept together-completely missing the point. Meanwhile, his friends and enablers kept excusing his actions, letting him off the hook.
The story had potential to be relevant and grounded in 2024, but it felt half-baked, as if the writer wanted to explore one angle but was forced to add a forced romance. The result was a messy, unsatisfying film. Honestly, I'm glad we watched it on Netflix-if I'd paid for this, I'd be furious.

This movie is The Hows of Us, My Ex and Whys, One More Chance morphed into one. The fight scenes in the beginning are reminiscent of the Hows of Us since with KB and DP even the crying in the rain scene is a complete remake, it's laughable.
I'm sorry but Julia cannot act to save her acting career. She needs to attend acting workshops instead of banking simply on her face and surname to have a career. Her acting is flat, inconsistent, and just lacking.
Some of the love scenes are unnecessary, we get it they're doing it, you dont have to add it in the story line every so often. Julia's character development or lack thereof was a disappointment. Zy cheats on her fiance twice and as they say, if they cheat with you they will cheat with you, so why are we advocating cheating? Why should we root for a cheater?
Im only giving 2 stars for Joshua's acting, I think given better projects he will become one of the more bankable actors in the Philippines. Having said this tho, he still has a lot to improve on -he has acting nuances that I think he gets (copies) from actors like Daniel Padilla or John Lloyd Cruz, it's really annoying. But between the two of the main leads his acting was way better.
I had high hopes for this movie knowing this earned millions in the box office and was trending for a while. Honestly, this is the type of movies people praise now? We've seen better! This was obviously a fan service for Joshua Julia fans. If you're not a fan like I'm not, this is a waste of time. You can skip.

Story is very dry. Too many moments of silence and empty scenes that were a waste of time. Filipino movies used to have such a good story, building characters and creating moments we can all relate to. The characters are unlovable and so tone deaf. Unfortunately the story did not live up to the amazing cast. Movie came off corny as well. The characters had way too many plot holes, and it was ultimately annoying to watch the protagonists have such a ditzy and clueless motivation to just set aside their values for something so desperate. The ending was also unsatisfying. This new age of filipino movies with this style in my opinion are lackluster. I'd pass on this one.
This movie represents typical Filipino generic trope - cheating and toxic relationship.
There are many plotholes like what happened to Matt? How did Zy met him? And is it justifiable to cheat when you're literally engaged? The feelings between Zy and Matt is close to non-existent to the point that you're even questioning how they got engaged in the first place. Matt's also not despisable since he's being professional at his work that would supposedly help Zy on her research. Kawawa pa nga siya eh.
This type of trope downgrades the image of Filipino movie developments. Their agruments are immature and illogical. It's like they just want to focus on making the audiences cry(tho it's hilarious for me) than making their plot consistent.
Lesson learned? Encourage cheating with others because of lOvE. At if you're caught doing it, just say "Sorry".
Sumabit lang ang movie dahil sa punyemas na love team. Kaya pala pabawas nang pabawas ang mga nanonood ng Filipino-related movies. Isa na ako jan, last ko na to.
