    Very Nice Movie

A nice and independent movie with a great story line combining drama and some humour. The film is about the difficulties of life and the complexities of relationships. I find it very nice, engaging and realistic. The characters are well chosen and the actors perform well in this movie. A must see.

    Beautiful written Film

Nicely directed little movie. Some scenes were pretty funny, while others were very sad. It shows what life is full of: laughter, sorrow, loss, and mental illness for some.

I guess it is important to keep moving forward and remember that after every door that shuts, another one opens. After every tough moment in life, there is another serendipitous moment that takes us on a different journey filled with hope.

The film's characters faced hardships, yet their stories remind us of the resilience and courage that lies within us all. Watching them grow and find their paths gives us a glimpse of how perseverance can lead to better days and brighter futures.

    Emotional roller coaster

Hey Everyone just watched Life Gets in the Way, I couldn't help but reflect on the themes and characters. The film lingered in my thoughts long after the credits rolled, prompting me to think about my own life and relationships. It's a testament to the power of storytelling when a film can evoke such strong emotions and introspection.

SO If you're looking for a film that will touch your heart and challenge your perspectives, Life Gets in the Way is a must-watch. It's perfect for viewers who appreciate character-driven dramas with a focus on emotional depth and personal growth. Hats off to Lili for making this gem.

    Funny and Dramatic Story

Dramatic story with funny scenes. I guess life is full of both dramatic and funny moments. Donna Mills shines as a woman piecing together her shattered past in chaotic LA. With a witty script by Lili Matta, the film balances heart-wrenching drama with laugh-out-loud moments. Relatable and engaging, the story explores the struggles of finding genuine connections in a city of superficiality. Julie Sabray and Geoffrey M. Reeves deliver standout supporting performances. A must-watch for anyone who's ever navigated the ups and downs of life and love in the city of angels!" In other words it's "A poignant and hilarious journey!"

A film all about the true essence of life

This independent film is about the essence of life and its many challenges, focusing on themes like loneliness, complicated relationships, and the constant presence of death, especially suicide.

The story is smartly written and captures the true, raw emotions of the characters, offering a genuine look at human struggles.

Through its unique storytelling, the film explores the fine line between hope and despair, encouraging viewers to think about how these themes affect their own lives.

Its thoughtful cinematography and strong performances leave a lasting impact, making it a powerful and memorable film to watch.
